Last night at Aggie baseball all the beet kiosks were barely used. They have Bud light, michelob ultra, some wines and water.
I got a Miller light at consession, I normally get michelob.

It's a little complicated but Constellation Brands owns Corona, Modelo, and Pacifico in the United States only. AB owns them globally except in the US. There was an agreement with the US government anti-trust regulators to sell the US distribution to Constellaton.Quote:
I am all for the boycott- but AB is part of AB InBev, a massive Belgian company that owns, among others, Budweiser, Corona, Stella, Beck's, Busch, Modelo, Pacifico, Natty, Shock Top, Ziegenbock, Lowenbrau, Spaten, St. Pauli Girl, Foster's, Breckenridge Brewery, Elysian, KARBACH, Labatt, and Michelob. Plus hundreds of other labels in dozens of countries. Their only real competition is MillerCoors, which owns just about everything else.
So, if you want to avoid Bud, there's your list.

The "aw, shucks. What's the big deal?" bit is also a talking point of the left.BenFiasco14 said:AggieChamp2021 said:
I'm just curious. Why is everyone so upset about this? They sent a can to someone with their face on it. Big deal. It's not like every can in the store has their face. My life has not changed in any way because this person got a can with their face on it.

The ones I really feel sorry for the Budweiser Clydesdales. They don't deserve this *****
Of course they're horses so they probably don't care.

They just needed to tell their cis-gendered customers to tone down the transphobia
They were demolished, as they should have been, and this statement is nothing more than gobbledygook.StoneCold99 said:— Anheuser-Busch (@AnheuserBusch) April 14, 2023
This is 100% confirmation that they were absolutely demolished sales-wise in the past week.
(Not that we didn't already know)

So 99.98% aren't compelled to react by bud lights fake apology?

Platitudes. I don't see any accountability in that statement.

Nothing about an apology or saying they will no longer divide this country by imposing their views on us. **** Anheuser-Busch.

They would have been better off not saying anything vs that crap. They actually just poked the bear even more
If someone out there loves AB's horse swill but does not in any way, shape, or form agree with the trans lifestyle that the public is being told is normal and should be celebrated, but continues to purchase the horse swill, then that at the very least affirms tacit approval via this marketing campaign. On the other hand, if that person decides to no longer purchase the horse swill, then their complete list of choices has been impacted. AB has a whole lot more beer brands than I was aware of, as evidenced in this thread. And yeah, this person could simply buy a non-AB brandboboguitar said:oldord said:

How are they imposing views on you?
None of that told me how they are imposing their views on you. They can not force you to think like them.Cinco Ranch Aggie said:If someone out there loves AB's horse swill but does not in any way, shape, or form agree with the trans lifestyle that the public is being told is normal and should be celebrated, but continues to purchase the horse swill, then that at the very least affirms tacit approval via this marketing campaign. but I'll put it in somewhat different terms since I am not a beer drinker. You have Coca-Cola or Dr Pepper, and then you have Texas A&M entering into a contract to sell only Pepsi at their athletic venues. I happen to love Cokes and DPs, but not so much anything Pepsi. Yeah, I could buy the Pepsi if the DP machine happens to be unavailable, but I'm settling for a choice that I don't want, or I could do without. The latter is not a great choice for when I just want a Coke/DP.
All corporations should stay out of the political arena. The people who make up these corporations are free to have their own political opinions, but these corporations are not in the political business. Sell your product and keep your political opinions to yourselves as was once the case.
Do you actually think that Republicans woke up one day and decided to attack a minority group? I mean, never mind what the assclowns in the Democrat party are telling everyone that they must support and celebrate. A member of this particular minority group just went into a Christian school and murdered some Christians, to which the White House expressed sympathy - to the mentally ill shooter, not the Christian victims.boboguitar said:None of that told me how they are imposing their views on you. Also, supporting a minority group of people is not a political view. The only reason it has anything to do with politics is because the GOP needed another politically weak group to attack to distract its aging base.
