I believe this less and less every day. There are A LOT of Republicans that would be just fine with DeSantis or an alternative over Trump. The real polls btw are not nearly as rosy for Trump. He's sitting around 50% and dropping and DeSantis is in the mid 20's with the rest of the votes to folks like Pence and Pompeo and Cruz. Those are likely going DeSantis. I think Trump is more likely to fade than get stronger.

Sabotaged 2 senate seats in Georgia, gave us Walker/Oz/Masters instead of capable candidates, didn't concede on December 14 after the electors voted in their states leading to the Republican Party looking bad to Independents (Gore 2000 basically set December 14 as the cutoff date to concede), and now denigrates the most popular and successful conservative politician in America 2 days before the midterms.
