Didn't you know? Trump and his cult don't make mistakes. If they do, it's a ploy by someone else to make them look bad

I will no longer vote for this tool. He just lost me. Such a clown.

Make no mistake, he would attack Kari Lake just the same if he felt it benefited him. He's a geriatric child.

Was a huge fan just a year ago, now I can't stand him. He doesn't give a sh** about you or me or this country…I was fine with his own ego and legacy being his sole motivator when it helped our country, but this does the opposite and threatens to fracture the party for years to come. F-ing self worshiping child.

f him now. DeSantis is the right choice and a rockstar.

Trump is all about Trump. That's not always the end of the world because his interests and his base's interests frequently overlap, but people should be aware of the difference. In areas where they don't overlap he'll pick himself 10x out of 10 (see Georgia senate 2020 and 2024).

separately, I can't believe the delusion one would have to possess to think that another 80 year old president is a good idea.

I know Trump coined the phrase,

I know Reagan used it, though not the centerpiece of his campaign, and I'm relatively positive that Goldwater used it some too ... re: the MAGA slogan.

Trump is and has been a pompous ass. If he gets the nomination, I'll certainly vote for him. And while the TDS infested liberal nut jobs are horrible, so too are those that refuse to acknowledge Trump's issues - of which there are plenty. Chief amongst them IMHO, is him being an 80 year old, narcissist that refuses to stop the jack-assery.

Trump has the right to run and let the American people decide. Trump was sabotaged by the government swamp and some in the Republican Party simply watched. The truth came out finally, but too late. The media elected Biden.

I am a conservative Republican…and I do not want Trump to be the Republican nominee. Let's move on….try to re-build and reunite our country instead of making the chasm even deeper. Love his policies…cannot stand the man himself. Desantis is the future.

Maybe not quite "low energy Jeb" good, but close.
Not as good as "Lyin' Ted".
I wanted to personally bash Trumps skull in with a tire iron every time he started trashing Cruz. He was a MAJOR ******* during the primaries. Trumps worst trait is how he does the Democrats work for them during the R primaries.

I did greatly appreciate it when he leveled his guns at the Democrats, however. Most of my life Republicans have been too cowardly to really fight the Dems.

I know but can't he see that his ego is going to get in the way of turning the country back in the right direction.

I suppose the answer is clearly a no .

"Trump lent his credibility to Anthony Fauci and Deborah Birx. And because he did, he was disarmed when his survival instincts kicked in and he began to disagree with them. In the PR tug of war between him and his political enemies, as often as not he lost. More often, in fact.

During the height of COVID Anthony Fauci could actually exercise more power than Trump, both to Trump's detriment and to the country's.

DeSantis saw early that Fauci, Birx, and the entire COVID-industrial complex was not only his enemy but America's. He saw the destruction wrought by their policies and rejected their propaganda and their advice. He stood up to them and fought back at precisely the most important time on the most important issue, and in his state he won. Kemp, similarly, did the same.

When Brian Kemp decided to reopen his state for business in April 2020 he didn't just take flak from the Leftthe incoming artillery came directly from Trump himself:

"I told the governor of Georgia, Brian Kemp, that I disagree strongly with his decision to open certain facilities which are in violation of the phase one guidelines for the incredible people of Georgia. They're incredible people. I love those people. They are they're great. They've been strong, resolute.

I wish there was some way the GOP could keep him from winning the primary, but there isn't. I get why people back him, but he's a bad person and he's bad for this country. I hate the left establishment as much as anyone and might vote Trump if I thought my vote would keep Biden out of a second term, and I think Trump is a disfunctional.

Exactly how is Trump dysfunctional? Other than your feelings about how he fights. Remember Lyin' Ted? Little Marco? Low Energy Jeb!? He beat them all and took us on a path to the strongest the country has been in its history. How was your 401K? How were gas prices? Grocery store? Was our military respected? We're there any terrorist attacks?

Jus admit he hurts your feelings with mean words.

You like Trump. We get it. I'll vote for him should he win the nomination. I won't vote for him in the primary.

All that said, telling other conservative people or republican supports we don't support Trump because he says mean things is a bad strategy for eliciting support.

I think it's safe to say that TDS has infected the right.

If you believe trump has any shot at winning the next election, you definitely have TDS. He literally lost to a vegetable because he couldn't keep his mouth shut. DeSantis on the other hand, will crush anyone that runs on the left.

This kind of response is just so stupid. I'm not sure I'm supposed to say that, but it just is. Again, I'd vote for Trump of I had to, but the man is a child. He's bad for this country. He's part of the problem.

I'm old enough to remember when Trump was praising "the General Mad Dog" Mattis every single day after APPOINTING him as SecDef.

then, Mattis quits and blasts Trump as a menace to world peace.

that was an entire 3 years ago.

No, it probably wasn't. I am very sympathetic to concerns about voter fraud It definitely happens.

And I thought there was enough cheating to swing the last election, too, for a long time. The National Review is an honest, actually conservative publication that critically examined the best arguments toward that conclusion, and none of them hold up. They just don't.

The one that moved me was the claim that made rounds that the three major cities in the three closest states (Maybe Detroit, Atlanta, and I for the other) were the only three urban areas where Biden outperformed Hillary. But it turns out, that's just false. There is no good statistical evidence to back the claim that there was sufficient cheating to swing the election.

I find it hard to believe that any rational adult can be surprised that Donald Trump lacks all impulse control (notice how much fatter he has gotten in the last two years)

OF COURSE Trump views anyone not kissing his @#$ as a threat to be taken down with childish antics.

Remember him making fun of Carly Fiorina for being ugly?!?! and blasting Megyn Kelly for menstruating?!

he is simply a boor.

And because of his behavior, only around 25% of the US actually cared. Because he is so unliked that a vegetable beat him. Yet TDS will keep his base from ever admitting that he's done, and there are better options out there now.

I was the most depressed in November 2020 not just because the leftists took over the government, but because I KNEW that Trump would run again and ensure yet another loss to the left in 2024.

I was wrong (hopefully!!) about it costing the Congress in 2022

but I KNEW two years ago that unless Trump died of a heart attack, his narcissism and ego would take us and our candidates down once again in 2024.

He is better than any living democrat, but you could say the same about a literal sh**-sandwich. Still, I won't vote for him...for months I've been saying the ONE thing this imbecile can do to lose my vote is start attacking Ron Desantis...who is leaps and bounds better and more conservative than Trump is or ever was. And there he goes...so stupid and unnecessary.
