What in his brain tells him this is a smart move? Days before the midterms. If you need more proof that Trump is out for himself, here you go.

He doesn't have enough brain cells to know when to capitalize something or to avoid using fake words like "bigly", zero percent chance he knows that his stupid nicknames are both childish and idiotic.

How cute. Another Trump childish nickname. This time for a highly effective, popular governor and fellow Republican.

Please go away, Trump.

He blocked Hillary. His job was done. Hopefully the American people knew then he was only one over the media approved Republicans that would lose to Hillary, and there is better candidate out there who won't make you cringe when he speaks.
Towards the end Tump played both sides trying to get re-elected- something I thought he wouldn't do. Bottom line, he toed the line. Sure he was sabotaged along the way, every day, but if he wasn't the guy I would have never voted for in a million years prior to 2016, would it have been better?
He needs to tell his remaining followers to get behind DeSantis. He is too Damn old to run now anyway.

The one thing Trump has over DeSantis is four years in the president's seat. I'm sure if he runs again (especially against Biden), most voters would cast their ballots with an "I'm not making that mistake again" mentality.

exactly- so what you are stating is the majority of Americans who despise Trump and took a chance on him in 2016 thinking he woud change-

will not make that mistake again.

you are delusional if you think Biden is going to be the leftist nominee in 2024.

Donald Trump the day after he held the ceremony for ACB's swearing in until now has been the worst thing in Republican party history. Sabotaged 2 senate seats in Georgia, gave us Walker/Oz/Masters instead of capable candidates, didn't concede on December 14 after the electors voted in their states leading to the Republican Party looking bad to Independents (Gore 2000 basically set December 14 as the cutoff date to concede), and now denigrates the most popular and successful conservative politician in America 2 days before the midterms.
well stated and 100% accurate

the sooner he is gone from the scene the better for the Republic and the GOP

This is the same Trump that cost us two senate races in 2020, which led directly to 3 trillion dollars in more Dem spending

There is little to distinguish between the political parties and the unholy union they have with the federal bureaucracy.

A person cannot serve two masters, you either make decisions for the good of the country or the good of a party and they seldom coincide. As a best case, political parties are a necessary evil that seldom serve us well. They are part and parcel of the federal establishment that has overrun states' rights and individual freedom in pursuit of power.

The non-establishment candidate will normally receive my support because the party is an integral part of the establish and represents another form of mindless voter control, which I resist. Be sure to vote tomorrow, if you haven't already done so.

Absolutely agree. There is a formula that Trump could follow if he truly wanted to help the conservative movement in the U.S. Campaign in red states when needed, but stfu about himself and his stolen election, etc. when he does. Stop bashing Republican candidates who don't cry about 2020 alongside him. Stay away from endorsing celebrity candidates such as Dr. Oz and Hershel Walker who struggle mightily against what should be easy opponents. But that would require Trump to put conservatism and the future of the United States against his own self absorption and childish instincts. It'll never happen, unfortunately.

And for the record, this is NOT an endorsement of GOP establishment, either. Mitch McConnel did the country "a solid" by holding up the nomination of Merrick Garland, and I could not have been more pleased with Trump's nomination of Amy Coney Barrett. Otherwise, though, he really hasn't been all that effective of a leader in the Senate. He's been in since Cato the Elder, and it's time for some fresh leadership.

Trump is only about Trump. He sees no bigger picture. He will try to rake DeSantis thru the coals. DeSantis will expose Trump's weakness. They better figurevthis **** out real quick, or we'll have another problem on our hands.

Beto was/is an empty suit attempting to be a soy RFK. DeSantis is governor of the third most populous state with a proven track record of implementing conservative policy and fending off the left.

Trump has endorsed over 50 candidates! Ron 1 that I know of! Most Trump fans like Ron, also.

Calling Trump a name doesn't help Ron one bit!

In 2016 I voted for Cruz in the primary and Trump in the general. In '24 I would vote for DeSantis in the primary if he runs, but will vote for whomever the R winner is against any Dem.

Nearly ALL major politicians (and even their campaign managers) are narcissist by default. Especially here and now because of the media and camera hogging process it takes to get elected.

Not the same, but related, it similar to good generals -- personal modesty of winners is not especially common. I guess that goes for many sports figures too.

Ron Paul is the exception.

So that part was always known about Trump. .

A dose of narcissism can't be a criteria for exclusion. You have to look at other things. But it can definintely bite and undermine, as it is doing here.
