I didn't post this yesterday. I've been busy and can't give the cliff notes, but to be honest, this is another one to actually watch. He goes over numbers of losses, equipment used, etc., but also, the Russian State TV clips are hilarious. They say the West is burning up all of our weapons and production capacity in Ukraine. At one point they randomly have a picture of Marilyn Monroe up in the background for some reason.

If the orcs are having logistical problems bridging rivers, etc. They are really going to have problems in this area. It seems it will be an area where advances can be funneled into corridors fairly easily.

Not long after the grain ships depart Ukrainian ports, they will enter the coastal waters of Romania, Bulgaria and Turkey. All NATO nations.

Russia launched another massive missile strike on Ukraine. There are several notes on LiveUaMap. Of course, infrastructure was hit in several regions, include Kyiv, Kharkiv, Kryvyi Rih, Zaporizhzhia and more. Debris from one shot down missile landed in Moldova.

I can't believe Russia is going so all-in. NATO has a lot of stored reserve equipment that it actually has maintained and also can see they probably won't actually need due to the cautious overestimation of the capabilities of Russia and its few remaining close allies.

That older gear can be fed into the fight and replaced with equipment planned for the next war instead of the cold war, and while this modernization cycle will have a cost, it will be less than the constant cost of countering a belligerent and more capable Russia into the near future. This foolish war has set Russia back in a huge way for a long time, such that it is a probably long term savings in force size for NATO.

China is of course the other issue but not so directlya threat to most of NATO militarily, but rather as a source of economic problems.

I chalked that one up to the crew being concussed - based on some of the back and forth from those in the vehicle not being aware or able to hear. Guess the driver really got his bell rung.

Russia isn't all-in, Putin is.

He knows that after so badly damaging Russia's military, economy and international standing, winning is his only chance of survival--both physically and for his legacy as the architect of Russia's resurgence.

For the moment, Russia is just being towed along in the czar's wake.
