If a cop can't stand a criminal cop going to jail, then they department would be better off if they do quit.

Explain to the class how exactly he killed him.

And I care too much about white privilege according to the friend of my HS friend on facebook

My school friend said she was waiting for the verdict.

I said I am not because cities in this country are going to burn for the next 72 hours regardless of the verdict.

And my suggestion that Floyd may not have lived the night had he just let himself go in the car and be booked is nothing but my white suburban racism.

I HATE THE FRIENDS OF SOME OF MY FRIENDS THAT LIVE IN WA, CT, AND NY

You could have just liberals / democrats suck. Much quicker to get your point across.

Jury is now in the building per CourtTV. They were deliberating at the hotel?

And "liberation" in their mind is white genocide.
"If you will not fight for right when you can easily win without blood shed; if you will not fight when your victory is sure and not too costly; you may come to the moment when you will have to fight with all the odds against you and only a precarious chance of survival. There may even be a worse case. You may have to fight when there is no hope of victory, because it is better to perish than to live as slaves." - Sir Winston Churchill

I would have quit last summer. I'm at a loss as to why someone would want to be a big city cop in 2021. So much personal risk

Court TV just said it was a hung jury but at 3 a.m. this morning 4 missing jurors were found that all voted guilty.

It wouldn't surprise me if the jury was hung and people's heels were dug in, but they reached a compromise to convict on manslaughter
Maybe if this went on a few more days and they were about to lose the weekend, I could see them breaking down for a compromise verdict.

i havent watched anything but from reading here it seems like the state did an absolute garbage job. if that is true, then unless the next jury is a much better panel (unlikely i guess), wouldnt a mistrial be a very good thing for the prosecution?

which is actually bull**** because the prosecution isnt supposed to care about 'good for them', their job (LOL) is to do justice....

My prediction is guilty on all counts. It's either guilty on all or acquittal. I can't see just manslaughter.

There was plenty of reasonable doubt if the jury wanted to look for it. Short deliberation and no questions from the jury makes me think they weren't trying to determine the difference murder and manslaughter..

To imply that because a judge was speaking to the defense attorney about a possible appeal means that judge thinks the defendant is guilty is incredibly dumb. The judge had literally just denied the defense's request for a mistrial based on Maxine Waters statement and the judge denied it and said that it would be helpful in the appeal.

He may be a doctor but he doesn't know what he's talking about.

I'm thinking guilty on all charges. The jury is just looking for a way out of this with minimal damage to their lives unfortunately and I think guilty gives them that and they just sacrifice Chauvin or rest easy knowing he can appeal.

Although I wouldn't rule that out i think they were taken to the hotel to pack and get their things and then brought back to the courthouse.

This police scanner is crazy, right now. It's not about the verdict, but someone stole a car and the person whose car was stolen got in another car and chasing them. The two cars are exchanging gun fire. If you're a criminal, now is as good of time as any in Minneapolis to car jack with resources spread thin.
