Remember the Mississippi teenager who really was set on fire in her car after being beat and raped that died?

Probably not because it got almost no coverage because it didn't fit what the media wants to cover. They didn't like who the suspects were and who the girl was because it didn't fit what they want to show.

I think the burns are to her left side and the photo on the right is reversed. If not, then she has very symmetrical burns to both sides of her face.

Lighter fluid (naptha) and flash point review;

The flash point for lighter fluid is (depending on humidity) between 104F and 140F.

This is why when you go to light your ambient temperature charcoal in the weber grill, after soaking the charcoal in lighter fluid, you have to hold the match there for a few seconds before it ignites. Even in the summer, if you just toss a match on to it, the match will often go out before the naptha ignites. The flame from the match must raise the surface temperature of the naptha before the naptha will ignites.

Conversely, once you get it going, even just a little bit, and you add additional lighter fluid...poof! it ignites instantly!

I don't believe that at 1:00am in Dallas, it would be hot enough outside to make it possible to squirt naptha on someone, throw a lighter (which would not just stick to them..it would deflect or "bounce" off, having only stayed in contact for a fraction of a second) and cause it to ignite.

3. No damage to hands...she indicates she used her hands to stamp out the fire.
4. right side of face only. So the guys who did this were Jason Bourne level talented to hurl or spray accelerant through passenger side window perfectly onto her face and throw a lighter such that the only thing that ignited was the area of her face. Not clothes, etc...The probability that the lighter stayed lit, and ignited at perfect mixture, is extremely unrealistic.
5.We are supposed to believe there are committed racist whites walking around town looking for targets--in an atmosphere where shouting the n word in an urban area is gonna draw down half the town on them? uh huh. And they were walking with spray bottles full of accelerants?
6. Where is the lighter thrown? Must be in the car somewhere.
7. The burns look like friction burns not fire burns. Don't see blistering.
8. Did the 4 guys walk up to her passenger window? Or was this in another car?
9. So we are supposed to believe she is rollin through town at 1am with her music going and her windows down in the summer? Madison is upper midwest, but most people are gonna have windows up regardless because of humidity.

Here's the problem I have with this.

Same thing with Nascar reporting.
Same thing with Young statement.

BET and these previous two things are writing and stating things as facts before any investigations are done.

This is completely irresponsible. And 9 times out of 10, if it does turn out to be a hoax, it gets very little coverage. If its real, the coverage goes into overdrive.

This pattern is evil. It needs to stop.

I think the image is reversed in at least one of the pics. Her injuries are on the left side of her face I believe.

As a kid I nearly burnt all my hair off on multiple occasions because I was a fire bug.

Where is the crinkley white hair caused by it being burned? And if it was burned, the why is it still hanging down below her ears?
