The FBI has no jurisdiction. Overlook the Statute of Limitations issue even if she's not completely FOS, it is a state matter. NO FEDERAL LAWS WERE CLAIMED TO HAVE BEEN VIOLATED.

Collins was almost assuredly the first number in trump's Rolodex to get called - hence the reason Kavenaugh got the nod. Collins will pay enough attention to this Ford circus to maintain her credibility and appear concerned but she won't flip on a judge that she certainly blessed long before the nomination was announced.
I agree, that's why I said it be a huge bonus for them to flip her with some "new" information in the next couple of weeks. Meaning I don't think it's likely.
I think the best they could really hope for would be to somehow get the vote pushed back past the election. And that's still not likely. But don't think they won't stop trying to throw up roadblocks.

Even if everything she said is true what would/could the FBI do? I don't understand why, in any cidcumstance, they need to say/do anything for her to testify. What could they possibly go off of?
This is a stall tactic. They want the FBI to investigate until after the mid term elections. They are worried some red state Dems will still vote for him. If the vote is after November there is no pressure for them to vote him in.
