10:08pm 1st 911 call
11:20pm door breached

Its CNN could be wrong, but pretty specfic details.

Guess I should clarify. 90% of instances where an African American is murdered, it's at the hands of another African American. However, that does not breakout between the type of weapon used specifically which I didn't notice when first looking at it.

Wrong. A small Cessna that carries two people weighs about 1500 pounds. It can travel 100mph in a straight line, much more in a dive. Imagine 1500 pounds at 100mph into the middle of that crowd.

And you could always scale it up with bigger planes, cockpit full of gas, etc. etc.

If he came in low and level in a twin engine plane to a tightly packed venue like that, the death toll from the plane slicing through the crowd at 100+ mph plus the fireball would have likely killed many more than 58.

As stated previously, having a guest with several suitcases/golf bag case/etc isn't uncommon. Personally, I think he made multiple trips over the few days he was there. It's not hard to logically come up with plausible scenarios.

The last hotel I stayed at had a hangtag which indicated that you wanted to participate in a program to save water by having housekeeping not change anything out for three days.

Maybe Mandalay Bay has a similar program.

This is seriously one of the most perplexing acts of violence to me. With serial killers, there are usually clear psychopathic/sociopathic psychological signs. With someone who just acutely snaps and goes on a shooting spree, its usually explained as an acute psychotic break or it comes out that there were some signs that killer was mentally disturbed. But this one... this is just strange. There doesn't seem to be any sign of a motive or logical explanation at all. A seemingly normal, wealthy, retired man plans this for what would have to be months of procuring the weapons, researching when there were going to be that many people in that small of a space, booking the room in advance, etc. I don't know... This whole thing just feels off to me.
