All the Mission Impossible movies after Rogue Nation, which was the best of the series because Hot Ilsa.

Fallout had its moments (every scene with the White Widow) but I just couldn't get past Henry Cavill's wooden acting and the fact that his meathead character was supposed to be some inspirational mastermind terrorist leader. And the part at the beginning where Ethan dreams about being with his ex-wife and Solomon Lane in the mountains when a nuclear explosion goes off, foreshadowing the end of the movie…what, has he become psychic or something?

The last two movies in the series were just so painfully over-hyped (Tom Cruise is 90 and still does his own stunts! Look, we have biplanes!) and it felt like the writers had lost sight of what made the better MI movies fun. Plus with all the finality hype around the last movie I would have liked to see an actual ending for the character, like Ethan becoming the Secretary or reuniting with Julia. Instead, it just…ended.

It was pretty easy. If the movie is not entertaining or interesting in the first 30 minutes, I turn it off.

I reluctantly agree with this. After watching Bladerunner 2049 when it came out and liking it a lot, I made my wife go back and watch Bladerunner. I hadn't seen it in decades.

While it's still a very influential movie and before it's time, I did not think it held up well. My wife just laughed at the ending and thought it was stupid and I sort of had to agree with her.

It still has some great moments in it. Rutger Hauer steals every scene he's in.

I stuck with the movie to the end, but could totally see how someone who was just tired of these types of people deciding to see what else was on their streaming platforms.

I'm pretty sure her OBGYN would not approve of going full auto on the RPK right next the head of your unborn baby. Probably a bad idea.

If you gave up because you were annoyed by the performative revolutionary characters you missed the ENTIRE point of the movie...

Agree with Avatar. My wife hates sci fi movies and I convinced her to go because how awesome it was supposed to be.

Two hours into it I agreed to leave.

That was only the second time I had ever walked out of a movie. The first was when some friends and I were watching He Got Game and during it one of them mentioned to his parents what we were seeing and I had lied to my mom that we were seeing some other movies. And they were all having dinner together so I knew I was screwed

So I left early and mowed the lawn in hopes of lessening the blow.

The problem with Avatar is they obviously put so much effort into the visual side of things, and very little effort into everything else. Stupid plot, horrible dialogue, and pretty bad casting and voice work (mainly Sam Worthington).

Godfather II is the second greatest movie ever made. The Godfather #1, so you're sort of right, but wrong.

I'm kind of shocked that James Cameron decided to make his entire career about Avatar. It's the only thing he's made in the last 17 years. He helped write Alita Battle Angel. That's about it. And I think he's done a documentary.

Yea its a shame really. I have no problems with the original Avatar - I was blown away at the 3D in an IMAX. It was practically like a ride at Disney at the time. But I don't need 3 or 5 of these movies and nothing else. I saw the 2nd, didn't bother with the 3rd. Cameron has his shortcomings but if he did something new I would be first in line.

Alright yall, I am ready to come clean...

I hate Batman. All the movies, the character, the story. It's all garbage. Even the lauded Dark Knight era. Boring and kinda dumb at parts.

Gump was really disappointing. I watched it years later with my son thinking maybe I'd dismissed it too hastily.

Nah, I stuck the movie out, it wasn't too "deep" for me, it was silly. But still entertaining enough. Massively overhyped in my honest opinion though. Largely acclaimed largely because of the subject matter.

Like most of the country, I absolutely loved Forrest Gump when it was released. That stated, it just does not hold up well at all.
