That was her original origin story. New 52 had her as the daughter of Zeus.

This is what I was thinking. Part human, part goddess. Even in the movies they refer to her as a goddess

Like a lot of characters she's been massively powered up over the years. She's basically Super Woman now.

With filming on Clayface reportedly set to begin "early next year," and Luca Guadagnino's Sgt. Rock (starring Daniel Craig) looking to film either around the same time or shortly after, it's a safe bet that, as of now, both will be 2026 titles, joining Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow releasing in June of the same year. Not to mention, Lanterns is scheduled to release summer 2026 as well, potentially making for three DCU live-action movies and one DCU live-action series all in 2026. This universe is really starting to ramp up...

Actually, scratch that, as it's sounding more and more like this isn't a DCU title but rather part of Matt Reeves' The Batman Saga. In other words, a DC "Elseworlds" title, not an official DCU title.

Well, I watched the first episode of Creature Commandos and I did not enjoy it. I guess I didn't realize it was simply Suicide Squad all over again just with non-humans.

I just didn't think it was any good. The humor was flat and I don't think it was well written. Felt very forced.

Maybe I'm just tired of DC weirdness. Dunno. I may give the following episodes a shot this weekend since they are very short. E1 was only about 20 minutes.
