Keely's obnoxious ex-assistant Shandy, who she fired leaked the photo!!
How did you get there?HtownAg92 said:
Rebecca was also great dissing on Paris.
I hope that they do not make Collin's outing into some huge negative gay-bashing scene because it wouldn't be realistic in 2023. Teams have gay guys come out all the time. It's old hat now. I hope it is the Captain gathering his team and collectively embracing Collin's orientation because he is family and that's all that matters.

The issue is Keely is a great character but she's on an island with people we don't care about doing things we don't care about. A Keely/Roy/Jamie love triangle would be interesting but we've wasted so much time getting here.
What do the Targaryens have to do with any of this?HtownAg92 said:
Spring-boarding off the Jack photo leak and previous "Jack is in cahoots with Rupert" conspiracy theories, I'll offer this:
Jack is a Targ.
That's the problem. We don't want nor need Hollywood to preach/teach to us about their causes.HtownAg92 said:
Not bashing per se in the violent sense, but a preaching / teaching opportunity for Hollywood. You know, "If these professional footballers can accept it, so can you".

I've been wondering if I need to be identifying like thereal footballer who had this haircut every episode.
I don't know if it was intended to be a tongue in cheek take on the old "The more you know" things on NBC(i think)85aggie777 said:That's the problem. We don't want nor need Hollywood to preach/teach to us about their causes.HtownAg92 said:

Good to know.
Yeah I didn't mean to imply that I think it's going to turn into an "everyone gets back together" situation. But I do think it'll be a good, "happy" ending.
I think we're due a pretty big tragedy before we get there though. Keeley's thing isn't enough (we all wanted that to happen).
My bold prediction: Michelle dies. The green matchbook is fascinating to me so this is my easy way of making those predictions come true. Ted has to take a leave of absence or maybe quits outright. Nate stunningly quits West Ham to fill in for Ted (gives him agency rather than getting fired by Rupert). Then way down the line after a period of appropriate grief, Ted and Rebecca somehow reconnect and get together and she becomes a mother to Henry.
Y'all can write the rest of the characters.
You are absolutely right that Hollywood does not need to preach or teach us anything, but it is doubtful that they'll pass up an opportunity. So far we've seen environmental, anti-oil issues and immigrant racism unify the team. So there will need to be some backlash about Colin from someone - a teammate, a fan, opposing fans, the press -- so that we can see the team have Colin's back. They are going to have a couple of episodes about him and McAdoo's big "cliffhanger" reaction without some payoff.PatAg said:I don't know if it was intended to be a tongue in cheek take on the old "The more you know" things on NBC(i think)85aggie777 said:That's the problem. Or if it was just an awfully executed attempt at commentary on the real world, both in terms of writing and acting.

I'm thinking there's some fan backlash on Colin and Keeley helps Richmond come together with some Pride kits or something.

I'm not sure she's done a damn thing at this firm other than bang Jack and hire/fire Shandy.
