Don't you write scripts? You can't see the foreshadowing in Bo-Katan asking about the mythosaur, getting it on her armor piece, and all the slow lingering up close shots of her as she stares at the skull on the wall?
The thing about Mando is even he doesn't know what he really wants. He wanted to be redeemed, now he thinks all he needs to do is train Grogu. Everyone should know that's not going to last.
Foreshadowing WHAT, though? What does Bo WANT? We need *some* hint or indication and we currently have none. Good storytelling is either foreshadowing what we might suspect, or foreshadowing something we think might happen, only to then subvert our expectations. Whatever Favreau is doing is neither of those things. You can't just say "It's foreshadowing!" as if that's enough, in and of itself. Because there's nothing else going on for it mean anything right now, or to set our expectations one way or the other.
As for Mando, if he truly only wants to spend his life simply training Grogu now, then
play that up. Even if his motivation is to just hang out with the clan and be the best Mandalorian he can be, then
lean into that. Have him *express* as much. And do so in a manner where we know it can't last, and his world is about to be turned upside down again. Being motivated to essentially do nothing is *not* the same as having no motivation. One is expressed and implicit, the other - the latter - is lazy writing.
