Got tickets for the kids on friday. Kids saw the preview for this when we saw Puss N Boots Last Wish several months ago and both of them exclaimed "I want to see that!" as soon as it was over.
Super special to me because this was the first time that both of them went to the movies at the same time. COVID kind of messed it up for my now-4 year old daughter, and my 8 year old son, pre-covid, was very sensitive to noise so he had very low tolerance for movie theaters and was only able to go maybe 3-4 times, but they are now both fully in.
When I was younger, my parents would take me to the movie at least once or twice a month and I remember how much of an event it was. Hoping we can bring back some of the magic next Friday.

Fair warning, I'm also seeing a number of reactions like these. Granted, negative/lukewarm reviews probably aren't going to make a difference - kids will love it and it's going to make bank regardless - but just a heads up...
