Non big brother observation:

This forum is way slower and more empty than any previous season... Is it just me pushing my personal hesitation / low faith from the last few seasons? Or is it just slow because nothing is actually happening, and we don't have anything to talk about yet?

Well 1 episode had aired so…but yes the past few seasons have sucked bad so expectations are low for me

It has been slow until last night when the Taylor gossip spread like wildfire

• BB twitter over-reacts throwing out "racism" and "micro-aggression" claims

To be fair Taylor did some off putting things early in the game. Apparently within a couple hours she dropped food and made a comment about how she won't pick it up. She carried herself early with a "gtfoomw" attitude and she she waited too long to try and settle in with people. It's fine to carry yourself with a chip but you're playing a social game and the first 72 hours are imperative to simply not make a fool of yourself or put off bad vibes. She put off bad vibes.

Xavier, Tiff and the cookout social media warriors can go **** themselves. It's week 1. People look for easy targets and she made herself one.


And I want her to stay because eye candy should always stick around a couple weeks.

She is the annual candidate for playing too fast too soon.

Paloma was just in the kitchen talking to Taylor acting like she hasn't really talked game with people and wants to play more of a floater game like Hannah last year. Hopefully her fast gameplay catches up to her by the time the Backstage twist is revealed

I don't think Taylor has really done anything to be a target. The key factor to her being a target is she told them she was a beauty queen. She was getting iced out within the first hour of feeds. It was the basically what helped form the girls girls alliance. It has gotten to the point where HGs are now just picking small things as ways to justify their reasoning for wanting her out which usually happens on evictions at the beginning. I don't agree with some of bb twitter claiming it has to do with her race. The only microaggression I could see was what Pooch has said to a couple of the HGs claiming Taylor is going to explode when she gets put on the block and there has been no reason to assume that when they have only been in the house for less than a week. She has been chill for the most part, actually too chill to the point no one knows where her head is at in the game.

Daniel has done a terrible job being HoH, I don't see the point of winning the first HoH if you aren't using it to set yourself up for future weeks. If you are going to put up people that will upset the least amount of HGs, you need to at least do that. At this rate, he will be lucky if he makes it through the next couple weeks.

It will be interesting to see where Paloma will be in a few weeks if she survives this backstage twist. It does seem like she has at least a temporary mist over the majority of the house. I know Daniel really liked her and she knows it If Taylor is the renom, I don't see Paloma/Alyssa/Brittany getting evicted over her.

Definitely girl jealousy is playing into it but she absolutely put off some sort of vibes early because Pooch and Kyle and maybe a couple others on night 1 were mentioning just avoiding Taylor because she would take them down.

But yes, generally it's just "who can we pick to be a target" week 1 normal stuff.

She already talked with Alyssa and Paloma. Paloma is now acting super lovey with her and acting like she never said anything. "I didn't know you day 3 but now i know you and love you"

Paloma's demise whenever it happens will be a fun week. Taylor still has plenty of time to escape, and if a 3rd nom came up from the backstage crew she just might.

Ameerah is putting the pieces together after Paloma's wack conversation last night and just now talking to Taylor. It is too late to save Taylor, but maybe she can help the other HG see they need to get Paloma out for their own sanity

It might not be too late if Paloma is the third nom for the backstage twist. Paloma definitely isn't long for this BB world because she's starting to show cracks with a few of them.

Yep. I think as the week goes on and DR sessions begin floating theories of an alternate or additional nominee she might end up being one that goes up and out. But Taylor will need to not only feel bad about her situation and get everyone to 'get on the same page' on that front but start working HG's over to try and secure votes in the event that something shakes up Thursday night.

I never watch live feeds, but every other year I've followed this thread for content. This year's thread is so much slower than past years. I'm also sorry that I have nothing positive to contribute to the thread.

I listened to the episode recap on Rob has a podcast and two female guest host went scorched earth in the spoiler segment because of the plan to put up Taylor. White fragility, supremacy, bias. All the buzz words were used.

Thursday might get interesting if the backstage twist is similar to below
