Posting that West and Westhead are getting hosed in an otherwise great series makes me a jerk? Predicting that Kim is gonna get betrayed by Saul? Posting the Mavs messed up on their last possession and the ball movement was poor? Posting that hitting a bad golf shot isn't negligence under the law? Universal Pictures could be debuting the first Oppenheimer footage at CinemaCon here in the next couple of hours, but almost assuredly for the private audience there (though, we'll get reactions).

As for when we'll get to see anything, for Nolan's July releases, he *always* debuts a teaser around a year out from the film's release. Oppenheimer opens July 21, 2023. So, looking at Universal's summer schedule, we MIGHT see something with Jurassic World: Dominion on June 10, but Nope, on July 22, lines up almost to the year exactly. So the latter would be my bet.

Fairly confident that we're finally getting the first teaser next week with Nope…

- Nolan almost always releases a teaser a year in advance. Oppenheimer comes out July 21, 2023.

- Both movies are from Universal Pictures.

- Both movies were shot by cinematographer Hoyte van Hoytema.

- Both movies used the same new IMAX cameras, the development of which Nolan and Peele collaborated on in some capacity.

Jason Clarke was some underrated awesomeness in Zero Dark Thirty.

Still no word on a trailer, unfortunately, roughly 48 hours before Nope debuts in theaters. While that's not encouraging, I don't think we found out about the first Tenet trailer until it was basically *in* theaters, nor was it ever released online. That, and the circumstances/opportunity are just too perfect, and would fall exactly in line with nearly ever other Nolan blockbuster to date. My only hesitation is that Nolan has never released a movie with Universal before, but I can't image them telling him they're going to hold off and forcing him to break his own tradition (of releasing a first trailer a year in advance). Anyway, we'll know for sure soon, but fingers crossed.

Tenet trailer was secretively dropped during Hobbs and Shaw. I remember freaking out when I went to that Thursday opening.

I was trying to remember exactly, but yeah, I think we got word literally right as the very first Hobbs & Shaw screenings were happening that Thursday afternoon. Which was awesome, but then the damn thing never dropped online (only bootlegs), and we had to wait 'til, like, November to get the first official footage online. But every other Nolan teaser a year out, besides that one, has released online either just before or a couple days after it debuted in theaters. So, who knows how they play it this time...

Problem with Pattinson is that the first thought that comes to mind when I hear his name is ****ty vampire movie and I can go no further.

I used to but watching some of his other movies he's world class, good time, the Batman, lost city of z, etc…

It's been hard for us to see anything lately with two small kids and no family around to watch them. I thought he was great in Tenet, but I haven't seen much else with him in it.
