It's from 2003, not new. Good news though. Gives it some attention again like Community got when it got put on Netflix for a new group of viewers.
Watching that clip has me thinking I'm going to have to do a rewatch. One of my favorites was the World Series of Dice.
His appearance on Dave Letterman's "My Next Guest Needs No Introduction" was great.
When keeping it real goes wrong.

Favorite recurring skit is I Know Black People. Every single one is hilarious.

Black Bush is maybe the best skit from the series. So much greatness. For example: Mos Def, as the head of the CIA, is supposed to be wearing a suit, but instead, he shows up on set in some wild ass pimp-looking costume. So they just roll with it.
Even if you don't care for Chappelle's politics, you have to respect him for being one of the few people who just doesn't give a damn what the public thinks of his jokes. He doesn't filter for anyone and it is refreshing.
Chappelle show is still one of the best things ever put out on comedy central, and his stand up these days is top notch. Probably would say he is my favorite.

What i appreciate is that even if you had a beer with him, you'd respect his position. May not see eye to eye but the man is insightful, respectful and wiliing to hear perspectives.
He can see his own faults and is empathetic to others.
And can laugh about himself and others. I liked him in 03 and still like him. Hard to do in today's entertainment climate. A solid voice in a unfortunate time of censorship.

This was must see TV. Every episode was full of greatness that is still quoted today. Pound for pound maybe the funniest show in the history of TV.

I think black bush had some of the funniest lines, but player haters ball is a better skit
Whenever I watch Auburn play and they mention Bigsby, I think of Chapelle. Lol!

Charlie Murphy might be my favorite sketch actor on CS. He was so good, especially in this episode.

I still remember the dorms on Wednesday nights were silent during South Park and Chapelle's Show, then afterwards the place was a mad house with everyone yelling out quotes.
Chappelle show might have been the most consistent show ever made. First damn episode was the Clayton Bigsby skit. That's comedy legend, in his first 30 minutes on TV.
It wasn't super funny but it was an interesting watch on Netflix with his interview with Letterman. Kind of mentions today's society and how it is almost the death of standup comedy. Nobody can say anything anymore.
