Hmmm... I guess not. Her conversations with Starlight just made me think they were going a different direction with her. It's not a complaint really and I'm not busted up over it. Just surprised is all. (I haven't read the comic either.)

Homelander and Anthony Starr continue to be amazing.
I love that Homelander has become such a terrifying presence in this show that I fear him even when he isn't part of the scene - I'm constantly bracing myself for the "woosh" of his arrival.

Stormfront is likely one of Vought's original experiments, and an actual Nazi. Get storyline is likely that she's pissed at what the company has done with his work or that he commercialized it in the US instead of helping Germany. Remember, Edgar said Vought developed compound V and had subjects deployed in the field when Oppenheimer was working on the bomb and that he'd been working on it in Germany until '44. He either knows who she is and brought her in to contain homelander, or he doesn't and she's worked her way into vought to launch a supe revolution. That's what makes the most sense given Stormfront's background in the original and her disdain for the company.
I think she ultimately goads Homelander into losing his **** to bring down vought and then picks up the pieces/kills him with other supes. I also think Gecko isn't done. He's part of the internal takeover that raynor mentions before she dies.
He's so good, deserves an Emmy nomination IMO. Been really impressed with a number of the cast members, but he's so great. I don't know if this show gets much play with the voters, but damn it should. The feeling of dread is palpable, you're right, it doesn't matter if he's in the scene or not, it feels like he's around the corner.Bones08 said:

Ok, I remember that comment, but I think I was so surprised she turned out to be a murdering psycho that I didn't make the immediate connection.
It's easy to miss things in this show because it goes off the rails real quick. I think every episode has at least one scene where I feel like I'm laughing out loud just because it's so insane and terrible I don't have any other way to process the information.
