Hot take: Ghostbusters 2 is better than the first one. The trial is one of the funnier scenes from the 80s.

I was a kid so thought it was awesome.
But looking at it objectively from an adult lens.. the 1st had the perfect mix of spooky, eerie, funny, and sarcastic. The scene in the jail cell where they discuss the architect of the apartment building and the cult following.. legitimately creepy. The 2nd movie wasn't awful, but it felt forced. It didn't have the same natural energy. But it was still great.
So.........AMC opening night is supposed to be offering popcorn buckets shaped like Ecto-1 complete with working lights.....

Key word being "usually trust/agree with." (Even though the first Transformers movie remains a ton of fun.)
Regardless, by and large, Rocha doesn't typically jump on the bandwagon when, say, all the usual suspects are having a collective orgasm immediately after the latest Marvel premiere. So I trust him in that sense, rather.
I'd see any movie a critic bashed or loved if the movie has my attention.

It's funny how Bill Murray can say literally anything, and people laugh. Even when he's being an old curmudgeon.
