Love the idea of Bateman (another darker role after Ozark) and Mendelsohn who is always awesome. And Mare Winningham is good. Cynthia Ariva... I mean I don't have an issue with her playing Holly Gabney a crossover from the Mr. Mercedes universe but I actually like Justine Lupe in that role quite a bit in the TV series Mr. Mercedes.

Anyway I'm in.

I'll take that as a "please explain".

Jason Bateman killed the kid but it was a future version of him who did it to prevent this kid from being a killer or something when he grows up.

With both The Outsider and The New Pope now confirmed for January, unless the latter is on Mondays, I'm afraid that means we won't see Westworld season three until March, even though we already have two trailers for it.

The January date also confirms a couple of things...

- The Outsider (miniseries), Curb Your Enthusiasm season 10, and Avenue 5 season 1 will make up HBO's Sunday night lineup January through early March 2020. I'm assuming this means that The New Pope season 2, which is also set for a January premiere, will be airing on Monday nights.

- Either way, with January now chock-full, we unfortunately won't be seeing Westworld season 3 until March. Looking at the calendar, considering The Outsider's 10-episode run starting January 12, with two episodes airing back-to-back that night, my guess is that that Westworld season 3 debuts Sunday, March 15.

A little off subject but what's the skinny on HBO Now? Reviews on the app don't seem too good.

I haven't had any issues with it. I think a lot of the poor reviews are people not understanding that it's a paid service and then giving it one star because they have to subscribe to actually be able to watch.

I've never had a problem viewing a show or movie on the app. I don't like the layout/design of it, but that's just a preference thing and doesn't affect viewing at all.

This continues to look so good.

Not familiar with this story so that trailer has peaked my interest.
