I watched it as well, and it seems that it is trying to take very liberal stereotype and turn it to 11. Which, while it is funny to see this mixed in, an entire show was a beating.

Exactly. I've seen these exact characters and these exact dynamics a hundred times, but it was all just amplified.

I did that before. I think I prefer the surprise and the ability to binge watch the show.

What about timing it to when you finish at the exact same time the finale ends, but keeping the binge nature intact? There have been 67 episodes to date. And the final season is only six episodes. So, minus the series finale, you'd have 72 episodes to binge before the finale. And if, hypothetically speaking, you watched one episode a day, you could start exactly 72 days before the finale, ultimately ending at the same time as everyone else. You could come up with whatever your preferred method is, of course, I'm just using that simple math as an example.

Ha, I don't know why I'm so invested in this, but the final season is going to be so massive, and so massively popular, that I'm legit concerned you'll accidentally get spoiled. That, and I can't imagine not wanting to experience at least a small portion of this show - maybe the most popular show in the modern TV era - along with everyone else. But to each his own...

Is it weird that this makes me LESS interested in the series? It seems like she is just jumping on the bandwagon of big name actresses trying their hand at TV. Also, not a huge fan of her movies. Also, part of the delight of GoT is having unknowns or more character known actors in all the rolls. Sure, Sean Bean is in it, but I still wouldn't call him an A-Lister. I'll probably still watch, but casting a big name seems like a bad move for a series that honestly doesn't need an A-List actor to help get people to watch it.

Btw, is there a prequel show thread? If so, I feel like these should be going there instead, as production ramps up.

With all the GoT season 8 stuff on EW this last week (cover, bts photos, etc.), does this mean we will be getting a trailer and release date soon?

Depends on the release date of the final season, which we still don't know. Rumors seem to be leaning toward April, as opposed to summer, and if that's the case, maybe we get a teaser with the premiere of True Detective in mid January? I would be shocked if we get anything before then.

HIGH MAINTENANCE-- IMO the best show on TV no one seems to know about-- moving from Friday night to Sunday nights in January.

Having this and Crashing together on the same night is going to be awesome.
