I agree...Nobody really cares about the Bike cop story around that and so far at least, it has nothing to do with anything other than being the reason he's on this case.

Like first season, they are putting this extra crap out there that won't necessarily be relevant to the story (i.e. Woody Harrleson's whole infidelity stuff). Unlike first season, we kind of know to ignore that.

My friend sent me a screen grab and theory that Woodrugh's father and mother could be connected to the sex club. I could see that being the case to tie him in more. Otherwise, I really don't understand the point of him at all...

Just don't understand why everyone thinks NP is such an awesome writer. Not completely sure, but I think he has only written one novel, Galveston, and that sucked big time IMO. Not sure how he got the HBO series last year. Don't get me wrong, TD season 1 is my all time favorite series ever. but the writing this year is back down to Galveston level.

Yeah..I got distracted at work and didn't put a disclaimer that the nudity was awesome in season 1....but in the grand scheme of things, besides being awesome, it didn't develop the story....Bike copes whole pregnant fiancee and gay lover probably wont' go anywhere either...It just "humanizes" the character (I guess).

I agree with the poster above who said last season is the only reason I'm still watching this season. Not that it's terrible, but I probably wouldnt be watching this every week if I hadn't have loved last season so much. There's just not much to draw my attention so far story wise. It would probably be one of those shows that I eventually got around to watching at some point, but I wouldn't be in any hurry to watch.

Mayb it's not fair to compare this season to last, but more viewers are continuing to watch this season bc of last season, as opposed to viewers quitting this season bc it doesn't live up to last season.

I'd believe this if it said MVP and not VIP. What the hell is VIP supposed to imply. Notice King is pretty telling, VIP is not.
