Looking forward to this one and also hoping this leads to a 4k UHD release of the first one.
I stumbled on Incredibles playing on some channel last night. It is my favorite kid movie and it really holds up well over the years. Just a beautiful and fun movie really looking forward to part 2.

Saw it this morning. One of those movies that I thought was well done, but can't see myself going to the theater to see it a second time.
Taking our 3 year old to his first movie at the theater tomorrow. Mom and Dad are very excited, really counting on his attention span to hold up.

Saw a double feature on Wednesday. It was surreal seeing the first again and realizing it was 14 years ago, literally half my life ago when it came out. The animation looked so good for its time yet so dated. And then to follow it up by seeing the new one. That was so much fun and a joy to see these characters again. Every scene with Mr I and jack jack were gold. Getting Edna involved to take care of JJ was some of the hardest I laughed a long time.
The villain lacks the emotional punch of Syndrome but I liked the villain and they felt pretty damn threatening especially with how things got at the end.

For me, reminiscent of Roxanne Ritchi (from Megamind).
What a fun movie. My 4 year old only made it halfway through Cars 3 in the theatre, but loved this thrill ride the whole way through. There was a point I got caught up in the movie and forgot I was there for him and not me. The action sequences were phenomenal and pretty much rival any legit adult superhero movie.
Doesn't quite hit the usual emotional beats Pixar is known for as well, but this is a quality and worthwhile sequel, and I'd expect we see #3 in a quicker time timeframe (8-10 years).
There were probably more adults without kids than any animated movie I've seen since Toy Story 3.

A worthy and entertaining sequel. Highly recommended!
What a blast! I took my 3 yr old and of course we don't ever go to the movies because of life stage. So maybe I'm seeing this with depraved eyes. But man what a fun exciting movie. What was great too is every seen with the villan they followed it with a Jack Jack or comedy heavy scene.

Absolutely loved this movie. The trailers made it seem like it was just Mr Mom but I was pleased it was so much more. Loved that Frozone had a bigger role this time around too.
Stay through the credits to listen to the theme songs. Frozone's is amazing.

1. People really wanted a sequel for this one.
2. They waited 14 damn years. Not much of a cash grab with that kind of delay.
The train sequence in Incredibles 2 was better than the one in Solo. The ElasticCycle was fantastic and that chase scene was an amazing action sequence.
As have been said, the action sequences were great. Liked seeing more of the world, Bob Odenkirk was great and they did a good job with the parents being a team throughout.
The short before is by far my least favorite Pixar short ever. Normally I am happy with those, this one was bad though.

The short SUCKED
The short was a big WTF ... followed by what was such a fun time at the movies. Jack Jack vs the raccoon was a riot, and Edna was great in this one. Great action in this movie. Absolutely loved it, and I want another Incredibles now.

Jesus, $180M opening weekend. Somehow it outgrossed Finding Dory by $45M. (And Nemo was significantly more successful than The Incredibles.)
Have to wonder how Toy Story 4 will do next summer.
