Disney probably realizes they both suck?TCTTS said:
I assume this means we're not getting The Acolyte until May at the earliest?
But probably more like June?
So The Acolyte this summer and then Skeleton Crew in the fall?
Either way it's still so weird to me that none of the live action stuff has been dated yet.

I suppose I shouldn't have any expectations for Skeleton Crew, since it has almost nothing out there about it. I don't expect much from the Acolyte, though.
I have no idea what this metaphor is supposed to look like but I sure do appreciate itDecay said:
I don't care if they need an extra year to rub mayonnaise on every inch of the set and let it decay into an oily dripping egg nightmare that turns out to be the perfect Star Wars grimy patina.
Andor is an achievement and it earned your damn respect for the process!!

Yeah, it focuses mainly on a group of kids, and they look to be maybe a year or two younger than the Stranger Things kids in season one. So closer to tweens as opposed to little kids. But the adult cast is really good, and the whole thing feels like an old school Amblin movie, with heavy suburbia/E.T. vibes, set in the Star Wars universe. The sets/cinematography are incredible, and it just looks unlike anything we've seen before in that world. It's less annoying modern day kids show and more classic '80s adventure, with that whimsical Spielberg vibe.

Unlike Captain America, I do not get that reference.
I got to Zoom with an ILM FX guy thanks to my brother contacting Disney after my car accident in 2016. the ILM guy had also been in a traumatic wreck earlier in this life that left his face badly scarred. Despite it being a 1 time thing he has continued to stay in touch with me from time to time, despite my constant gnawing obsession with asking for spoilers on literally anything.
