Big media properties are all about the inter-relatability these days, so if you can't at least commit to reading the other shows Wikipedia entries or watching YouTube or reading Twitter, you're going to miss out on stuff.
If you didn't watch a single movie between Age of Ultron and Infinity War because you only like the Avenger movies, then you'd have no idea why Thor had short hair and one eye, why Hulk was in space, why Spider-Man was in the movie, why Cap and Ironman weren't friends, what the hell Wakanda is, or a million other things.
I have to believe Mando-Grogu reunion and Luke trains Grogu and Luke talks to Ahsoka were massively trending on the Twitters this time last year and TikTok and whatever else is out there. And even if you missed all that and were confused by the trailer, just typing into Google solves your problem. It's not like we live in a vacuum where nobody knows what's going on except for the trailer.
I get that people didn't watch BOBF, but it's not like they can't take 5 minutes on YouTube to catch up.
Yes, except the disconnect here is that most people never expected there to be dedicated Mando episodes (apparently) inside of another one-off series. And most people actually aren't on twitter including me.
And I didn't know to go type that in google because the show was marketed as a sidebar spinoff and it's totally illogical to assume or even possibly think that Mando would be reunited with Grogu directly after the way Mando S2 ended.
That simply is nonsensical and terrible storytelling so the thought never entered my mind. If I had any hint of that, then Boba would have been required watching even though it's a slog.
