If it helps, everyone has said the queue for the rides is so amazing that it's almost part of the ride. And you'll be able to freely roam in the Millenium Falcon for a part of it.

Who is the guy next to Ford?TCTTS said:
Sad that it took an f-ing theme park to get these guys together, and not any one of three sequel movies, but awesome to see nonetheless...

I've already told my family we have to be at HS an hour prior to park opening.Brian Earl Spilner said:
I'm still wondering what kind of stuff they'll implement at Orlando. They've said they're not gonna do reservations like Disneyland, and they haven't announced any time limits.
So I'm just driving over early in the morning to try to be there at rope drop. (And hope I can get in.)
I'm gonna down a glass of that. Also going to get a couple of the thermal detonators that are filled with Coke (I think). And depending on what they cost, a lightsabre. My wife will think I've lost my mind.Brian Earl Spilner said:
Can't wait to try that blue milk. Everyone is raving about it.
The parks are identical. There isn't much room in Anaheim, but there is some.Quote:
Is there a difference in attractions and rides between WDL and WDW? I've just assumed WDW Galaxies will be bigger?
The only difference that I am aware of is not really related to Galaxy's Edge, but in that Disneyland is mostly 1 self-contained park (with another park called California Adventure). GE is located inside what is called Disneyland, the park. I don't expect that GE in Disneyland is any smaller than the similar location in Orlando, which is in Hollywood Studios.YouBet said:

Will probably wait a few years before we go. Plus (and I'm not sure how they work) I'm going to buy the most exclusive pass you can get. Is that doable or is there some kind of points system here like A&M season tickets?

On the exclusive pass - I'm not really familiar with anything like that. There is a thing called a signature plus passport , which entitles you access to the parks any day of the year, and it is not cheap. (Actually, nothing at Disney is cheap - dropping nearly $8K not including air transportation to go to WDW later this year). I don't know of any points system.
Yeah, they're keepers.Quote:

It's been a decade of Disney for us. Our daughter had just finished pre-K back in 2011 when we hopped in the van and drove 18 hours non-stop for our first trip. Two years later, we surprised the kids with a Thanksgiving trip. My wife's aunt and uncle have an adopted Chinese daughter; they are not likely to ever be in a position to take that girl to a place like Disney, so back in 2011 when I suggested to the aunt that I'd have our daughter send a postcard and was told that might not be a great idea (hurt feelings, I guess), I went to my wife and said, why don't we just take her? So that happened each of those trips, and we are taking her again. For this trip, our daughter will be in 8th grade, and our cousin a senior in high school.
And with that, we will likely be done - until grandkids come along (and we have a 27-year-old son who married right after graduating A&M, so that could come sooner rather than later).
This is always what I point to as why Disney beats out all other theme park out there, especially Six Flags.TCTTS said:
That's a good idea. Wish they would have done something like that for the lines at Six Flags in Arlington when I was kid.
