I don't think Luke is making it out of IX alive, so it's going to happen at some point in the next 5hrs of Star Wars film....

Of course! Han and Luke are 100% off limits... oh wait...
I think all of the diehards knew Han was likely a goner in this trilogy, if not in TFA.

It's easy to kill off Luke because of this alone. I bet there is a 75% chance he gone.

Neither Luke nor Leia will die in VIII. That's my guess. They've already said Leia will get some kind of "send off" that doesn't include death in VIII, and that'll be enough "goodbyes" from the original three over the first two movies. They'll save Luke's death for IX.

What if she dies of a heart attack or some way similar to Padme's death?

I'm 99% sure Johnson said she doesn't die. She had a big role planned for IX and they didn't want to rewrite her death in. So they tweaked something and are giving her some kind of "send off" instead.

Kill off Chewy, Leia, Luke, and Finn. Make it so memorable that you sometimes forget that Chewy dies

still angers me on how stupid that was. Throw in the fact that she's a mother of twins now and doesn't care enough to stay alive for them. So now she's selfish and weak.

Pretty much the opposite of Padme's character. Inexplicable given the character that they had developed up to that point.

I haven't played video games with any consistency since probably the Play Station 2, but this looks pretty amazing and worthy of a comeback...

I played Battlefront and it was lots of fun, but I had decided not to get the sequel. BUT, this has a single player campaign and the battles look WAY more varied and interesting. And there seems to be real development of the fighter battles, which were something of an afterthought in the first one.

Just sat down at the Lincoln Center Theater, about to watch the NY Philharmonic perform The Empire Strikes back.

Six rows from the front. Orchestra section.

So damn excited.

Seeing Spilner's post about the NY Philharmonic made me remember that I meant to post a couple of things from my trip to LA for UCLA. I think the outcome of the game may have messed with my head a little bit and that's why I forgot to post.

The first night there my family and I visited a Star Wars themed bar called Scum and Villany Cantina, right on Hollywood Blvd. Now is it the best place to take a 13 yo kid? Heck yes! (6pm on a Thursday...and only for an hour). We had a blast and the staff was great. They goaded my son several times with a chance cube, with a bad roll earning dad a free drink. My son terrible has luck and my wife had to drive the land speeder back to the hotel. The drink shown here is the "Blue Milk".

The next night, my wife surprised me with a concert. At the legendary Hollywood Bowl, the LA Philharmonic was doing a Salute to Movies with guest conductor...JOHN WILLIAMS. It was awesome and seeing the master himself was truly one of those experiences I'll cherish forever. He played the last hour of the show and did more than Star Wars. He played the Main Title, Rey's Theme, Scherzo for X-Wings, and did an encore with the Imperial March.

My apologies. At least your concert was indoors. The temperature at the Hollywood Bowl was 105 and caused me to purchase many overpriced beverages for my crew.

That was in jest, would absolutely kill to see John Williams live. And I need to go to that bar, stat.
