Rogue One had an April teaser trailer and then an August full trailer. So I'm betting the third/final trailer is pushed back just a bit. Seems like a no brainer for Disney to attach it to Doctor Strange on November 4th. Maybe release it online around Tuesday the 1st? And have presale tickets go up then as well? Sounds like a good bet.

Apologies for attempting to apply logic as to when the trailer might release. Also, its theatrical debut is still with Doctor Strange. Only reason it'll be online this early is because Strange is releasing early in the UK.

Really curious to see how they handle that. Since the last trailer there have been quite a few reports of people thinking Vader is back from the dead (and having no idea this is a prequel). So I wonder if they're going to leave Vader out completely or go all-in on him and really sell it is a prequel to Star Wars?

I'd be ok with the later. Save Vader for the film. Although I would be cool with a black screen and a red saber igniting across it.

I'm now all in on the idea of a Kenobi two parter released in sequential years between eps 9 and 10. I want the third announced anthology film to be something very different, though. That's a no brainer for a film about the ancient history of the galaxy.

I'm not saying I don't want it, or wouldn't watch it...but I'm just not sure what there is left to tell about Obi-Wan. We know (most of) his story from late teens to death, with about an 18 year period of him in exile. Do you really think he did much other than try to convince Owen to let him train Luke?

His story isn't etched in stone. He could have literally done anything in the 25 years between Revenge of the Sith and A New Hope. In my mind, there's so much potential there.

Pretty sure Luke isn't 25 in A New Hope.

I think the biggest problem with him doing literally anything, is word of his actions reaching Palps or Vader, and potentially leading them to Tatooine.

18, 19, 21... whatever.

And Obi-Wan's actions don't have to be this grand, public event. He could be working behind the scenes and lurking in the shadows of a grand event on Tatooine. So many possibilities that don't involve him being found.

The tone seems less dark and more hopeful than the earlier trailers.

Having her father be the lead designer/foreman seems unnecessary
