After the movie last night as we were exiting the theater, a father and son (probably late elementary to middle school age) were walking by us and the kid said he wanted to go home and watch Episode IV straight away. Dad laughed and said he'd let him stay up late enough, but he should feel very special because he was probably the only one in his class who got to see it opening night.
People with kids, good luck navigating the "is this movie too dark for my kids" mind field. I honestly have no idea what age is too young.
