Not from the book, really, but I don't think they would deviate and make Plagueis, say... a Twilek. Going back before that? I think it's fair game.

My bet is they make it more like Exar Kun from the Jedi Academy books, minis the Dark Side Force Ghost. A Jedi connects with the Dark Side somehow and starts to unlock some secrets independently and then goes looking for answers.

They'll have to be careful if that's the idea because slipping into a Harry Potter clone would be a short trip.

True dat. He took what i thought was the dumbest possible way to the interpret "the clone wars" and made it something good.

Actually intrigued to see Tarantino have to make something that doesn't involve hyper violence just to see if he can do it.

Yep, not only everywhere in stores, but easily every third person has a Grogu shirt/sweatshirt/stuffed toy. It's nuts.

That $5M they spent on the designing the puppet was worth every penny.

Also, ROTR was LEGIT. My first ever trackless ride. So awesome.

This was the first trackless ride in all Disney World.

I believe Ratatouille (Epcot) will be the second.

Edit: Mickey's Runaway Railway is second. Doing that later today.

Trackless must not mean what I think it means.

I don't see how Pandora or Mission Space is not trackless, but it probably means something I'm not thinking of.

So think of a ride like Haunted mansion, that is a track ride. Now imagine if it didn't have tracks to go on. Imagine heading to a door thinking this is where the ride is headed but then suddenly takes a sharp turn you didn't expect because there was no track to give it away

Yep. And on ROTR, there are also sudden/unexpected drops or quick shots upwards.

It's basically like 3 "regular" rides back-to-back.

So proud of my 9 year old picking up on something that I hadn't.

Was watching S3 E6 of Rebels (the one with the old separatist droids wanting to simulate a battle against the republic).

When the credits rolled for this episode, it played the end theme for Clone Wars instead of Rebels. That was a nice touch for that episode and I never would've picked up on that....

So I didn't want to post this morning, but I've been on ROTR twice, one before COVID, and one after.

It was significantly better before they had to socially distance the ride. (Just because of logistics/interaction)

Either way, best "ride" I've ever been on.

I really liked standing at the back of the transport and looking out the back window at some really cool details on ROTR. Going back on Spring Break 2021. Keeping it a secret from our girls until the morning of. Going to be epic - and then 2 days of Daddy driving I-10 - but epic still.

Did that back in '13 with my then 2nd-grade daughter. Wife picked her up from school under the guise of a doctor's appointment, but when they pulled into our driveway to find me and her cousin (who we took with us on all our trips), we then changed the story to ... uh, well, we were going to head out to Florida because the Aggies are playing out there for Thanksgiving (they weren't). The look on her face when we finally came clean was priceless.

We're doubling down by meeting one of their friends and her family at Disney World on the first day. My wife thinks she's running this show, but this will be ol Muck's third time to Galaxy's Edge (either Orlando or Anaheim) since June 2019.

My parents pulled a few surprise Disney trips on us. One time said we were going to the airport to pick up grandma and then walked in. Also did that on a Disney cruise

I was impressed that they surprised me in high school. We grew up in El Paso and my parents wanted to do a drive around the southwest. We get to Albuquerque and our hotel was near the airport. I asked my parents that they missed the turnoff for the hotel and they pulled up to departure to unload our luggage.

That was a long con to go to Disney but each of those memories will stick with them for as long as they live
