yeah that was kinda messed up and I feel bad for Brenda. but it's part of the game. look at that gif a few post up and she didn't have any problem laughing about doing a blindside.
quote:
Brenda said after the challenge in her interview that if it had been her and Eddie, she could have held on for a few more hours, but since it was Dawn, and Dawn's so paranoid, she had no problem letting go.
quote:Hear,hear!
so tired of Dawn's melodramatic crap.
quote:
I told my wife as soon as they gave Brenda the ridiculous choice of how to handle the immunity, "just take the barbecue... you're getting voted out either way."
Prevent four people from visiting with their loved ones, and you're eliminated for being a selfish *****. Let four people enjoy their afternoon, and your selfless act 1) pisses off one player and 2) makes the other four agree to vote you out because "at this stage, likability is a liability."
That's the part that was messed up. I understand the show's desire to add a twist, but they made it one of the more obvious no-win situations possible.

But he has potential votes of Malcolm, Reynold, Andrea and Mike voting for him. Even while he has done nothing.

EW: Okay, we’ve got a supersized three-hour finale/reunion show coming up next on Sunday night, so give us a supersized tease on what to expect. The nation is on pins and needles waiting to find out if there will be a Fallen Comrades tribute, and if so, whether it will be by land or by sea!
PROBST: Yes, there will be Fallen Comrades but I am determined to find a way to get rid of it in coming years! It’s a good finale. The game is definitely not over. We have another big turn moment. The only person who I don’t think can win in any given scenario is Sherri. Sorry Sherri, it’s not personal. I just don’t see it happening at this point. Everybody else has a shot depending on which people end up in the final

Eddie might make the final three if a power player drags him there, because he is a dud. He has done NOTHING. He has zero control of his own destiny and is a just a leaf blowing in the wind. He is deemed "beatable" by the others.

Rule #1 - don't even try to win the individual reward challenges. Winning those puts a big target on your back. Maybe when all the contestants figure that out and basically stand around until Probst has to change the rules to get them to participate in these winner really loses challenges.

I hate this part of Survivor.
