I went to that Fishbone concert when the unknown Mighty Mighty Bosstones opened and blew them off the stage. I can't remember a thing about Fishbone's show but will never forget the 'tones.

Not many other memorable shows during my '88-'92 run, unless you count the always entertaining Joe King Carrasco at Sneakers or Sneaky Pete at Flying Tomato.

Humm...some pretty good ones...Johnny Rivers or Elton John...ZZ Top, but they were called the Pop Tops or something then...Moving sidewalks good, as were Wilson Picket and BJ Thomas.
Guess Elton John...was a fun show.

I've said it before, and I'll say it again, the Gwar show at Stafford that got shut down by the fire marshall would have been epic.

Another vote for Toadies at Shadow. That show was ridiculous. Never seen so many people in Shadow Canyon.

Jason Boland at The Chicken. Just him and his guitar. I guess he was in town to play a show and stopped by the Chicken. This was in 2002 I believe. Pretty cool to get to stand right next to him while he played and sang.

REK any time he comes to town.
