Hey Vince, everything fit ok?

I'm surprised that no one mentioned that name that popped up on Drama's and E's cell phones when Vince called.

Vince banging the clothing store girl was classic Vince. Meets a girl at then five minutes later, away they go.

You could see that one coming a mile away. As soon as she said she could finish up the fitting at the house, I looked at my friend who doesn't watch the show and said "He'll be banging her in a few minutes."

The Rupert reference was way too subtle for most people.

Yeah, what's the story with Vince appearing as Rupert Pupkin on their phones? I assume there's a story behind the name, else they wouldn't have shown the caller IDs like they did.

That's clearly going to figure in to the Ashley-E storyline, because she a) didn't believe E when he said it was Vince on the phone, b) saw that the caller ID didn't say "Vince", and c) met his hot new assistant. I'll be disappointed if she doesn't fly into a psychotic rage next week about that. Hopefully E will then proceed to dump her and hook up with Kate Mara immediately.

Rupert Pupkin was Robert DeNiro's character in The King Of Comedy.

On the Zac Effron, I wonder if something will be made of Ari telling Zac that he's his number on priority. Does Lloyd use that to drive a wedge between Vince and Ari?

Drama isn't going to get the Melrose Place gig. Either he screws up the audition or the show doesn't get made. Turtle is going to **** up his relationship with JLS. And Eric is going to bang his assistant.

I was expecting Ashley to follow Eric....I think we'll see her one more time...maybe as E and Sloan start something up again....

That was like the bizarro Entourage: two agents fighting over Drama and Turtle caught in a love triangle.

That was a really good episode. The Drama/Ari/Lloyd stuff was good. I hope this is setting up for more Ari v. Lloyd showdowns. The sorority girl's interest freaking Turtle out was good. I'm glad E got rid of Ashley, she's clearly a psycho and I'm glad he finally figured it out. Kate Mara, good grief. Let's have more and more of her.

I've got the same problem-travelling this week and am away from the DVR so didn't get to see this or Curb. I didn't see any replays on the schedule early this week, so it looks like I'm gonna have to go the torrent route...

I dont think turtle with f up his relationship with JLS. He's too nice of a guy. I think you'd have viewers up in arms about that.

(This is a joke. The English Patient was great and everything. I guess I was just thinking how swell it would be if E abandoned Ashley to die in a cave and then eventually got captured by Nazis.)

"Yippie ki yay, mother ****er!!!"

Best episode of the season. Classic Ari/Lloyd, beyond classic Drama, Ashley's out, and the most Kata Mara we've had in an episode all season.

Favorite exchange of the night:
E: "Are your friends cute?"
Kate: "My friends are HOT."

Pretty much summarizes the entire problem with this storyline. Why did he keep dwelling on a debatably "cute" girl who was always annoying and clearly a psycho when hot AND cool chicks actually wanted him. Made no sense.

The new Melrose Place is 2 episodes in already, so he may not get the role, but they can't go with it not getting made. That wouldn't make sense, considering the show was already a lock when they were shooting these episodes.

It's not going to happen, since he's not on Melrose Place 2, since he's a fictional character. Fictional character.

How long do you want to ignore this user?
The fictional character can land a role on the show no problem even though it doesn't mesh with that real show. But Entourage looks incredibly out of touch if they reference the show not getting made when we know it does. Fine line they walk between fiction and reality in terms of entertainment projects when they choose to recognize real and current ones. And they get criticized frequently for using references that are already stale/no longer true in the lead time between the writing and the airing of the eps.

Lloyd's Die Hard reference was outstanding.

Exactly. Looks certainly aren't everything, but in this case, they're clearly the icing on the cake. One girl is crazy and controlling the other has all indications of just being an awesomely cool chick. The crazy chick is kinda cute, the cool chick is insanely hot, WAY too hot for Eric (or for that matter, any of us). I know which way I'd lean and it would take about .0001 of a second to decide.

When has Drama ever appeared on a real show that is current?

It's not going to happen.

Not sure if you know this or not, but Entourage is a fictional show. Fictional show

I keep hoping that, when Entourage wraps up, HBO launches a Kevin Dillon vehicle called....Viking Quest.

How many of you wouldn't watch that?

Drama the character was on fictional tapings of "The View" and Jimmy Kimmell.

Right, and Vince was on Jimmy Kimmel and Leno this season.

I meant a real tv show that isn't a talk show which has reoccuring guests.

Hasn't Drama brought up numerous shows in which he played roles from the 90's? Maybe I am misremembering, but I thought he mentioned a couple of shows that actually existed that in the Entourage universe Drama was a star or at least recurring actor.

So, I just got three free months of HBO and Starz from Dish, so I can now watch the episodes on tv rather than on internet delay.

I rewatched this week's this morning, have any of you seen the preview for next week's episode? It sets up the following three stories:

--E is making out with some chick who apparently has a history with Drama.

--Turtle is new Facebook friends with the sorority hottie and Jamie-Lynn is asking about it.

--Ari walks into his office and Terrence is sitting there waiting on him.

Holy crap that could be a great episode...
