The whole "this episode was lame because (insert rant)" bit is over played.

If you're looking for substance - go watch Grey's Anatomy with your girlfriend (or on your own). Besides, it makes you sound like an asshat around the rest of us.

Entourage is and always will cater to each and every young male's dream of all the money, chicks, drugs, and booze that sometimes comes with "making it" in Hollywood.

Also, props to Disco Stu for calling the bait and switch.

I thought it was a nice touch when Turtle got up to snag some scotch for Meadow that he had sweat through the back of his shirt. Funny.

Good episode. I love Drama giving Turtle sheot the whole time about Meadow.

it was a good episode but no where near as great as the others this season. I think that it was needed though. basically this episode solved every problem we've been built up for, so I'm counting it as a bridge. I hope turtle gets a fine ass girl soon

Not the greatest episode, but it was OK. I hope this signals the end of Josh Weinstein. He's such a little jerkoff. I can't stand him.

Great move by Ari. Drama is carring this season though. Without him it would be just alright. Eric playing the tough guy...give me a break. And with next week's previews, whos the guy stealing all of vince's lines, and who is that director supposed to be?

Yeah with him squaring off at Josh W. I thought you're a little *****. I always felt that too with E and Walsh going at it.

I think the lead in Smoke Jumpers ends up being Jason Patric.

I thought that was a good episode. It had quite a few laugh out loud moments (for me, at least).

Props to Disco Stu for calling it. Great outcome for all: Vinny is back in with the studio, Ari stays at Miller Gold, and lots of Dana Gordon for us in the future. I hope we see some more out of John Ellis, the studio owner, he just seems like a certifiable badass.

The Turtle/Jamie-Lynn debacle was great, especially with Drama b*tching about it to everyone he could find.

Lloyd's rant against Ari while Mrs. Ari was on the phone was epic.

The moment of the episode, though, was when Ari decided to screw over Amanda and she threw a hissy fit in her office as he walked out. I cannot stand her, and I am REALLY glad that Ari decided to give her what she had coming for being such a b*tch.

Alan Dale is a certifiable badass- he manages to comeoff as likeable while being sleazy all the time. He has managed to be typecast into the hardass, shady CEO role though(here, and extended roles on Lost, The OC, and one other show I cant remember the name of my wife watched). Would love to see some stuff between him and Dana Gordon now that she is working for him.

The great part about this is that she doesn't even bat an eye at this exchange. Her response- "He's right, you know." I love her.

I've been wondering what his name is (he's not listed on the Entourage episode cast on IMDB), because I knew I had seen him somewhere before, thanks for jogging my memory. He played the NCIS Director in the early years (pre-Lauren Holly) of "NCIS".

Maybe I don't pay close attention to gossip shows, but supposedly, Jerry Ferrara is indeed tapping that Meadow Soprano ass in real life.

Ari ****ed Dana Gordon a long time ago before he met Mrs. Ari.

seemed like she was ready to go at it again after Ari recommended her for the job.

I don't think Ari would actually try anything with Dana again, not at this point in his life. However, I don't expect him to slow down on the sexual innuendos and dirty talk.

Still one of his best rants ever:

I want you to pass this message along to Dana. Tell her that I still have the pictures from Cancun, tell her that I’m going to start a website. I will take a full page ad out in the L.A. Times advertising it. Tell her it will be called imahollywoodexecutivewh0re.com and that no password or fee will be required. Tell her I WANT A F-----G CALL BACK!

In the first season or so, Ari would often comment on how he was banging this chick or that one. Only more recently has his character been portrayed as a faithful family man.

He did that to try and "hang with the boys"....

Exactly. Ari would never cheat on Mrs. Ari, and presumably never has.
WestTxAg06
How long do you want to ignore this user?
At some point (I forget when) he told Dana that "I've never cheated on my wife, not since she's been my wife."

In another "art imitating life" scenario, Ari apparently could have maintained his ownership on Miller- Gold while taking the WB job.

Ben Silverman, founder/owner of the production company Reveille (The Office, The Biggest Loser, Ugly Betty, Kath & Kim, amongst others) put his shares in that company in a blind trust when he was given the job of president of NBC. Once he was at NBC, the network's purchase of Reveille-produces shows "coincidentally" went up significantly. The control around this was that all purchases by NBC from Reveille were reviews by some Silverman-patsy to determine that they were "free from conflict".

Ultimately, Silverman sold his shares (at an inflated price compared to what he could have gotten before NBC began pumping in Reveille produced shows). The equivalent would be Ari putting his MIller-Gold shares in a trust while hiring a good portion of MIller- Gold clients to star in his new Warner Brothers projects.

No longer really relevant now that Ari told the job down, just another example of how this crap legitimately plays out.

Personally, I think they just decided to change the character. No way to know I guess.

tonights best line was from Drama (as usual):

"remind him that he got molested on Sleepers" (talking about Jason Patric)
