I'd be willing to bet that he has a LOT of unresolved childhood trauma.

I would kinda agree, but one thing I learned living overseas and working with so many Euros is this sort of thinking is more common than I ever would have guessed. I was stunned at the number of professionals I worked with who went home and the first thing they did was pay for it. Not even talking about the "go to Thailand" guys. These Brits and Scots and such would go out with their buddies then when the party broke up they'd grab escorts and go their separate ways.

I can recall one that stood out back in 2012. Went on one date with her and really wanted to like her. Very solid girl with an outstanding background and good personality. I think she was about my age at the time, 28. I probably should have given her more of a chance than I did, I just didn't feel like we hit it off or really had a connection. Again though, she was definitely an all around fine individual indeed.
