Whatever you do don't head over to the Politics board thinking that the Zimmerman Trial thread is an informative play by play.

So now they are discussing whether or not GZ's educational background gives cause to assume he had the ability to manipulate interviews to put himself in a good light since his education had criminal justice background....
So if the background stuff is admissable for GZ, why wouldn't Trayvon's background be admissable to show that Trayvon had a history that would lead one to believe he was inclined to violence?

The only witness that hasn't helped the defense that I have seen was the nut that said she saw Zimmerman beat up Martin and then shoot Martin in the back three times. Which is quite something since he was shot only once and in the chest.

If the prosecutors are indeed seeking justice, they will stop the trial at this point and move to dismiss all charges. This is ridiculous.
Prosecutors aren't really there to serve justice, they're there to "win" the case for the state, which means punishing the defendant as severely as legally possible.

If this was a MMA contest, the prosecution would have tapped out after the lead investigator admitted he thought Zimmerman was telling the truth.

I think for the most part the evidence does back up what he has said. There are some inconsistencies but minor ones.

Did the prosecution's own witness from the JAG Corps, who taught the Law class in Virginia, just blow the trial for the Prosecution? I think the Captain's testimony was actually more damaging to the prosecution.
