Day crowd grew weary. I offer it up to the night crowd for some late night entertainment.

BTW, there's no reason you can't use a city that's already been used. Just don't repeat clues and you'll be a-ok.

I've got to run to a meeting, but whoevere feels the itch, go ahead and kick it off!

-this capitol city is in a country that held the longest modern record (behind war-torn Iraq) for going without a government.

- Ironically is also where a larger government calls itself home.

Once under the fist of a brutal dictator, the country this capital city resides in is now #1 on lonely planets countries to visit.

Even though it is the largest city and capital it does not have an airport. You have to drive in from a neighboring city

Temps usually stay around 80 degrees year round in this capital city.

On the banks of one of the largest bodies of freshwater in the world.

Pretty good one... trying to think of a capitol without an airport. Either South America or Africa... hmm.

If we're going to try this out again we might as well re-post the rules.

Rules:

1) When you are "guessing" the city, you MAY NOT use google, wikipedia or any other online reference or search site. It must be strictly from memory/knowledge. (If you are POSTING the city clues, you may use google/wiki to aide you with clues to give)

2) City must be OUTSIDE the US

3) City must have a population of AT LEAST 100,000

4) Only one guess per poster per set of clues. If no one gets the city with the 1st 3 clues, and another clue is given, everyone is then allowed another guess.

Clues:
1. This city was the home of the world's tallest building for around 200 years, from the middle of the 17th century to the middle of the 19th.

2. This city is on the eastern edge of one of the forests where the best coopers in the world harvest the material they need to forge their wares.

3. In this city, on a hot afternoon, friends will congregate at local restaurants to drink rosé and share a tarte flambé.

Strattenburg or Strasburg or something like that...parents went there several years ago. Big-ass church. Then again, maybe I'm wrong.

Strasbourg! Good job milo. I figured the cathedral would have given it away. Especially if you've been there, cause the oldest brasserie in town where you can get an excellent tarte is right across the corner. Well done.

This one might be slightly difficult so I'll adjust as necessary.

CLUES:

1) Feel free to ride around town in one of the thousands of "tuk tuk"s or "bijaj"es, blue three-wheeled mini-taxis. You'll pay two or three of the local currency as a foreigner. (There are no ATMs here, so be sure to have plenty of cash on hand.)

2) Sit around during mid-afternoon and enjoy a chat while chewing on some slightly narcotic "chat" and drinking coffee.

3) Home to an international airport which consists of one runway and a small terminal. Feel free to play with the monkeys outside the main entrance but watch your backpack, they know where you keep your food!

4) There are three primary languages spoken here, and the most common language in this city is not the most common language spoken in the country as a whole.
