If Lex keeps this up she may challenge Lincer for #2. We saw her improvement all year and it's continued this summer.

10.92 3 month ITR trend with a lot of matches.She beat an 11.2 a couple of weeks ago and Fiona is almost 11.7.

She was a 10.4 this time last year. She's always had the ball striking and it's been a lot of fun watching her full game continue to develop.

Lu shocked college tennis with dramatic improvement last year and now Lex is following her lead.

Off topic from our girls, but Vidmanova is really doing well on tour. Think she's into the top 50 after this tournament.

Sydney has a UTR tournament in Knoxville and Arina is and alternate for a few tournaments, but I don't see anyone else scheduled to play for a while after this week. Here's hoping to get the team on campus and POST THE ROSTER.

I couldn't resist rewatching our match vs. Georgia.

Lu's performance is truly an all-time great performance for any A&M athlete.

-Down 3-1 in the 3rd. Battling an injury, cramping, Georgia crowd at night, Lopata playing amazing defense and our entire season on the line.

-She battles back to 2-3 and it goes to deuce. One point and it's either 3-3 or we are down 2-4 and the Georgia crowd is going crazy.

-She absolutely smokes a backhand down the line for a clean winner. Zero hesitation. You can see her confidence and belief go up.

-She wins the next three games including another deuce point up 4-3. The rest is history.

Absolute legend.

To make it related to this season, Lu is tied one set all against the #1 seed in the semis of a W35 in Argentina.

Duke just got a good one. Nina Vargova, UTR 11.49 19 pro titles and #11 junior career high ranking. 20 years old

Since they didn't graduate anyone that moves their whole lineup down a spot.

This should be scary if you are a top recruit looking to continue to grow in tennis. Yikes. Bet she falls below an 11UTT within a year

Leave with money and a declining ranking and UTR that practically needs to be rebuilt with a new coach and mentality. Maybe I'm being dramatic. But look at Liv. Looks like Duke has hurt her brand pretty bad

The only reason anyone would be "building UTR" is to get to college. Someone who is just coming to cash in couldn't care less about UTR. The level of elite college tennis is good enough for girls to use it as a catapult to succeed afterward, so no reason why a semester even a year in college would hurt anyone if they getting paid enough to justify it.

I know that we were recruiting her for a while.

Well that's a quick way to become a contender.

Is there any way we lose Weaver with the lack of a facility? His contract is up in '27

Mark will retire before ever leaving. He loves it here, easing his family here. Trev at this point will match any other time free to pull him away, Mark actually likes Trev from what i've heard.

I don't love the new masters series format, but it's great for a qualifier as she will avoid a top 32 seed first round.

Mary plays Tereza Valentova tomorrow at 1:30pm. Good player, #67 WTA and 12.3 UTR. Everyone is good at this level so a decent draw all things considered.
