$42,940 for that win

One more win for $67,094

Two more wins and make main draw and take home $107,350.

She's getting really close to breaking through.

Jara I believe beat the #1 player for Furman, which had a decent regular season. It was either her or a girl from
Purdue

Mary has a revenge match tomorrow.

This is the player that got her 7-5 in the third at Wimbledon qualifying. She ended up making the 3rd round.

July 15 Press Release

Five Aggies Earn ITA Scholar-Athlete Laurels

TEMPE, Ariz. -- Five members of the Texas A&M women's tennis team earned Intercollegiate Tennis Association Scholar-Athlete distinction, while the team claimed ITA All-Academic Team recognition, the organization announced.

Teams with a 3.2 GPA for the year earned ITA All-Academic status while student-athletes who posted a 3.50 GPA for the year were recognized as ITA Scholar-Athletes.

The 2026 NCAA champion Aggies boasted a 3.407 cumulative GPA throughout the 2025-26 academic year. Lexington Reed led the way with a 3.91 GPA for the school year. She was joined on the Scholar-Athlete list by Avery Esquivel (3.64), Mia Kupres (3.6), Violeta Martinez (3.6) and Tilde Stromquist (3.63).

Martinez and Reed picked up Academic All-District recognition from the College Sports Communicators in June.

Texas A&M is experiencing the greatest run in program history. The Aggies earned their second NCAA championship in the last three seasons along with claiming their fifth consecutive SEC regular season crown.

We have a couple girls on the pro tour this week:

Lexington: W35 Dallas
She beat the 3 seed in the 1sr round 7-5, 6-1. She'll play jennifer Jackson in the 2nd round

Lulu: W35 So Paulo
Is the 4 seed. Cruised through the first 2 rounds thus far

Kristina (transfer): W15 Monastir
Won 1st and 2nd round already.

Olivia and Rachel: W75 Granby
olivia fell in qualies. rachael made it through qualies but fell in the 1st round
I'm personally really intrigued by rachael because she doesn't play anything less than a W50 for the most part. she doesn't have too much success. maybe win a couple matches at best if any. I'm curious why she doesn't attack W15s and W35s more. especially with how young she is. some of her matches are really competitive it seems so i'd imagine she has some success at that level

Meanwhile Sydney is mostly on the UTR Summer Slam recently. It is curious each player's strategy.

Guess we shouldn't be surprised with our success and the team OU has put together for next year. I think that gives them five players 10.8 or higher.

We are going to need one more big name recruit. Confident we will get it.

Also interesting comment on development.

Lexington took care of Jennifer Jackson pretty easily 6-3, 6-2. I watched a little bit of it. Lex looked good.

Texas A&M has developed players for sure. You see that in the national championship run when our lower UTRs defeated an Auburn team with a team average UTR of over 11.0.

A lot of the big-time recruits want to immediately play line 1 and that's an issue for colleges trying to recruit multiple big-time players.

Thanks for the report!

I just saw that she has beaten #7 seed Malaika Rapolu 6-3, 5-7, 6-2 in the Quarterfinals and is scheduled to play #2 seed Hanna Chang in the Semi-Final.

Great job, Lex !!

Edit: 'Gap' reports the win whilst I am typing - great timing !!

Agree and Lex is a good example of that. Keeps getting better.

Yes! I know she has one more year of college under her belt, but she and Jennifer Jackson were born a month apart and were rated/ranked similar as juniors. IMO Jackson has more natural tools, but doesn't play a lot of tennis and it shows. Lex has put the work in and developed and is on a complete different level than Jackson now.
frankie00
How long do you want to ignore this user?
Lex fell 2-6, 4-6 today but to go through qualifiers all the way to the semi is pretty darn good. And she won 6 games vs the 28 yo #2 seed - very good.

Good for you, Lex !!!
