I am not usually one to talk about appearances, but that graphic is so disjointed to me. You clearly have 1 athlete all done up in makeup and professional lighting/camera work, etc. while the other looks like a candid photo taken from a phone.

ITA All-American Qualifying Draw is up. Kristina and Lexington will both be in the main draw, so a few more days of waiting for us.

Anna is seeded 21 in qualifying singles and will play tomorrow.

It does no good for me to do so, but for some reason I just checked back on the this tournament and Badosa lost in straight sets in the next round to the #317 ranked player who now moves on to the finals. Still waiting and hoping for a big break through for Mary in one of these situations.

Aggie Pair Headed to ITA All-American Championships

CARY, N.C. -- Two Aggies represent Texas A&M women's tennis team in the ITA All-American Championships at Cary Tennis Park starting Monday. The tournament runs through Sept. 27, for a spot in the NCAA Singles and Doubles Championships.

No. 60 Lexington Reed competes Monday in the qualifying round of 64 against Michigan State's Amara Brahmbhatt. A win would put Reed up against No. 98 Allegra Korpanec Davies of Florida or No. 121 Sankavi Gownder of Wake Forest for a spot in the main draw.

No. 49 Kristina Paskauskas claimed her spot in the main draw which begins Wednesday.

As a tandem No. 34 Paskauskas/Reed begin their competition in the doubles main draw which also starts Wednesday.

Paskauskas recorded a 16-10 mark in singles action at the No. 1 position at Alabama and logged a 12-9 mark in doubles action during the 2025-26 campaign.

Reed concluded her 2025-26 campaign with a 16-7 singles record while going 16-6 in doubles.

The tournament consists of 64 singles players and 32 doubles teams with ten singles players qualifying for the NCAA Singles Championship, while five doubles teams qualify for the NCAA Doubles Championship.

Aggie legend Mary Stoiana was crowned champion at the event in 2023 after running through the gauntlet of No. 110 Sophie Abrams (NC State), No. 40 Ange Oby Karjuru (Oklahoma State), No. 1 Dasha Vidmanova (Georgia), No. 25 Sarah Hamner (South Carolina) and No. 3 Alexa Noel (Miami).

Question for those more knowledgeable than I ........ For the ITA singles tournament, do we only have the two women potentially in the field? Or do we have others that have already qualified? (Maybe Perez is focused elsewhere and isn't going to play?)

Only Kristina and Lexington are playing in this tournament. Other team members may play in later tournaments and become eligible for the NCAA Singles & Doubles champions, but not this week. Honestly, having singles / doubles in the fall makes it less important to some. Personally, I don't care if our girls skip it completely, but I root like hell for the ones that do.

Lulu is playing in California this week.

Majority of the better players in the country do not play to qualify for NCAA's. It is more beneficial for their development to play professional tournaments, as the competition is way better.
