I mean, Brad Pitt did a full motion picture for Formula 1. Indy certainly trying to make a run since the new F1 regs. McLaren sure is pulling out the stops to stack their Indy driver line up.

I believe so, given the reference to the airflow/exhaust not spinning turbos.

It's just wild how much the new cars are susceptible/dependent on the electricity issue. Doesn't feel like racing so much when you've got a finicky system controlling a significant portion of your horsepower.

Planning a last minute trip to the Monza GP. Anybody been? Trying to figure out best seating or hospitality areas and logistics to/from Milan

Any guesses???? Probably a stretch but was guessing they could try to host the final 2 races assuming Qatar/AbuDhabi can't happen.

Vegas straight back to Austin is very doable. Not sure how bad weather would be in England first week December.

I had a client go a couple years back and just looked at what I did for him:

He stayed in Milan and hired a private chauffeur to the drop off point because he didn't want to do the train. I think there was quite a bit of traffic but he was comfortable in his car. He did the Ultimate Hospitality with Parabolica seating due to the ease of getting to the seats.

Another good option I saw this year was the Schumacher lounge w/ 6A seating, it's not cheap though.

If I was going and staying in Milan I would probably take the train and do the Fans Club (which includes outer Ascari seating). Over half the cost of the above two packages. Just don't know if there are still tickets available.

Outside of that I'd end up reading every guide out there to figure out the best seats outside of the hospitality packages, but I haven't looked into it.

Currently debating between Ultimate Hospitality and Fans Club. About the same cost currently (Ultimate available directly from the track, Fans Club via resale). What was the feedback on Ultimate? Have you heard or seen any feedback on Fans Club? Seems like Fans Club is the better "experience" being right behind the pit lane, but UH is easier with the grandstand directly connected to the lounge.

the train is fine, from the train they have shuttles to get you to the track but there can be lines. last return is at like 8:30 pm make sure you dont miss it.

check if there's strikes. last year on friday there was a strike from 9 am to like 5 pm so most people took the early trains.

Milan trains can honestly be a bit confusing, its the only place where I didn't really know which one to take and Google Maps wasn't helpful either. try to figure it out on Thursday

Air Canada canceled all their flights to Abu Dhabi until 2027...maybe more airlines to follow. I've given up on Abu Dhabi this year. Only booked race tickets so that should be a refund.

Hoping for a finale in a Euro track that's not on the calendar. Really hoping for Imola

They liked the Ultimate but his wife went with them so the convenience of the stands right there was the priority over being closer to the action. If they were the same cost, I would probably do the same with my wife but I'd do the Fans Club if I was taking my son.

Appreciate the input. That was definitely the debate for us - convenience of Ultimate vs different and unique viewing area of Fans Club. Ended up pulling the trigger on Fans Club. We'll see how it pans out!

wow, he was sacked and it was not mutual decision and supposedly a difficult phone call lol, so they definitely wanted him out

Nine dnf's in elven races and I don't think either of the cars have ever finished on the lead lap. F1 is hard, especially for a new team, but it was probably time for a change.

Same here early in the year. I think the month long break from the ME cancellations was the culprit in my case.

Yup, same here. I was actually planning on getting weekend passes to COTA for the family this year, but I think I would rather save my money.

Well, for what it's worth, I'm excited for the return next weekend. My 14 y/o daughter is really into F1 (thanks Drive to Survive) and we have been counting down the days of the break until Zandvoort. We usually get up early on Saturday morning to watch FP3 and Qualifying, then up again early on Sunday morning to watch the race. She's been begging for COTA tickets this year, but we are waiting to see what her travel ball schedule looks like before buying the tickets.

We're also huge Red Bull fans, so hoping to see a continuation of consistent podiums from Max this second half!

The new regs have really ruined the entertainment factor for me
