Coach Henry indicated in his interview that we will be without our best Heptathlete for the meet. I guess Gigi Edwards is injured. I remember she was a DNF in the long jump last meet.

That's a bummer! I really wanted her to assure she gets a spot at nationals! It will be fun to pay attention and have tabs open for every conference meet! There's just not as much as excitement for this meet regarding us as there has been in the past! It'll be fun to see the other schools fight for a title and don't get me wrong I'm excited for all our races! It's just not the same! I hope we place in the single digits lol

Him being out there this early is admirable!! To spin and place your full weight on each leg multiple times in a throw is insane for him to be able to do this short length of time after injury! Props to him, regardless we'll be proud and we'll be rooting for him! Prayers indeed!

I've spent more time on the new indoor track than following the current season this year but my bold SEC predictions that I'm pulling out of my butt:

-TAMU mile record goes down
-All 5 aggie Pole Vaulters score points
-Allyson PRs in hept HJ and then again in open HJ
-Aggie women put up 23 points in the HJ

I wish we got to see Casarez in the open mile once more! I'd love to see him in a fast race! But Cawthra and Hoffpauir are gunners and will put themselves in every race! I'd love to see that in the vertical jumps! 4 x mile is gonna go off at the Texas Relays lol

I heard Hirth competed at an unattached meet on one the weekends we were elsewhere and jumped 5-9+. That puts her in the conversation for scratching a point at SEC's if she has a great day. Crazy that she is our #5 high jumper. We are LOADED in that event.

Chhikara isn't listed in the mile!!! I was upset seeing that!! I agree on that statement! And yeah that seems very very strange to me!

Can't wait to see how much of an improvement Landon Helms and Blake Harris see in the Heptathlon! Mentally, the first hep is a lot, so I bet they're much more relaxed this time around and ready to roll! They came in 9th and 10th! But let's hope for some big PR's the SEC is loaded in this event!
