Andress has a really rough 800 to fall back, but she still has a great Pentathlon PR after a great day and 3 PR's! She will finish 9th! Joniar Thomas will finish 7th after a two second PR in the 800!

Why is this program tanking? I don't know enough to understand details, but this is just awful.

A short answer is the transfer portal! Pat Henry isn't aggressive in it and he's getting some of his top athletes poached! Arkansas, Florida, Texas, Tennessee, and many other schools are just getting talent left and right! If they need a sprinter they go get it, if they need a thrower or jumper they get one. We have holes in our roster and we have not been addressing them. On the recruiting trail, other coaches are discussing the lack of NIL at Texas A&M! When NIL was introduced Pat Henry said he was against it, every other coach bought in and embraced it. It's why we lost Tyra Gittens, Emmanuel Bamidele, Laila Owens, Lance Broome, Zhane Smith, and it's why we lose people to the pros while other schools keep them!

The Texas women and Tech men have 6 individuals who can beat ours in the sprints. We have no male long jumpers or triple jumpers, Arkansas Florida and Texas have 3-4… peoples C relay teams are gonna beat our men's 4x100… If Auhmad Robinson is hurt, we might score in the single digits at nationals in 2 weeks, unless Perera wins!

We are rebuilding our roster, everyone else is reloading…
