After a 2-2 record on Friday and Saturday against UT Arlington and Abilene Christian, Aggie softball returned to Davis Diamond for a final matchup against ACU. Despite starting slow, the Ags were able to pull out a much needed win to finish off the weekend with a winning record.

Despite getting multiple runners in scoring position, Texas A&M only managed to squeeze out a single run, failing to match a 3-run homer from the Cougars on Friday in Austin. The Aggies will play in an elimination game on Saturday at 3:30 p.m.

Payton McBride hit a walk-off single to lead the Aggies to a 4-3 win over Alabama on Sunday. The A&M win put an end to Alabama's 33-0 start, the third best start to a season in NCAA softball history.

The Texas A&M softball team struggled again on Saturday, getting run ruled by the Crimson Tide after just 5 innings. The Aggies struggled both on the rubber and at the plate throughout the day, and the team wasn't able to do much to slow down Alabama.

Texas A&M is looking to rebound in the SEC standings after being swept by Auburn a week ago. This weekend, the Aggies host the red hot Crimson Tide, but feel they are equipped to end Alabama's winning streak.

After 14 scoreless innings, Kelly Martinez broke up the shutout at Davis Diamond with a two-run shot to left field. Kendall Potts notched the win after allowing just four hits and fanning nine in a nine innings in the circle.

Kelbi Fortenberry led the way as the Aggies bats exploded against Prairie View A&M, leading them to an 8-0 win. Kendall Potts pitched a complete game shutout and allowed just three hits in five innings.
