The Texas A&M softball season came to a close on Saturday, as the Aggies defeated Morgan State in the first game but were defeated by Wichita State in the second elimination game. The Aggies finish the season at 32-23 overall and 8-16 in conference play.

Texas A&M softball opened the Norman Regional on Friday with a loss, falling to Wichita State, 9-7. Going into the seventh inning down 9-4, the Aggies put three runs on the board after a double from Dani Elder, but it wasn't enough to break the now eight-game losing streak.
