When I posted the OP, I could have sworn the draft schedule was Saturday through Monday, but now mlb.com has this:

2026 MLB DRAFT PRESENTED BY NIPPON EXPRESS
Day 1: Saturday, July 11 (Rounds 1-4)
1:00-2:30 p.m. ET - Picks 1-10 (NBC/Peacock)
2:30-4:30 p.m. ET - Picks 11-40 (MLB Network, MLB.com, MLB TV, MLB+)
4:30-7:45 p.m. ET - Picks 41-135 (MLB.com, MLB TV, MLB+)
Day 2: Sunday, July 12 (Rounds 5-20)
11:30 a.m.-7:30 p.m. ET (MLB.com, MLB TV, MLB+)

In the latest episode of the B-Team, Brauny provides his assessment of the likelihood each A&M player and commit goes pro or not. According to Brauny:

Weston Moss: Pro
Clayton Freshcorn: Says he will never be more than 49% confident Freshcorn returns until the draft is over, but the likelihood has increased since the end of the season

Incoming Freshman:
Trey Ebel: Pro
Connor Comeau: Pro
Ryan Harwood: 70% school
CJ Sampson: 65-70% school
Matthew Kelley: 55-60% school
Trent Vilade: 50/50

Everyone else who is either a high school commit or an incoming transfer is expected to make it to campus.

I highly doubt it, but if we walk away with only Comeau and Ebel signing pro contracts out of our freshman group, that is an extremely massive win.

Add in Freshcorn coming back for another ride and it would be an absolute best case scenario.

ESPN's mock draft has Hacopian going 8th overall (which would be an Aggie record for a position player), and Ebel, Comeau, Sorrell, and Grahovac all in the 2nd round.

Brauny said he think comeau could actually have a chance of coming to school now. Apparently his number is high and he's firm on it. Teams don't wanna pay he might not get drafted and paid what he wants.

I miss when the later rounds were on a Monday so I could listen passively at work as each pick was made every 60 seconds.

You can't see why the kid who averaged .345 & 353 both years at LSU was drafted top 10? +Hitting, +Run & +Fielding with his only concern being his power...say what you want about LSU but cmon man lol

When there's 6-8 other guys that also play well in the field, hit.350 and hit ~20 bombs, yeah I'm surprised. I'm not saying he's bad. He's clearly a good player. But I think he's a high floor, low ceiling player. I expected him in in 15-20 range.

Sampson is going to school. He will be another Michael Wacha type for us. Kid is really good!
