I really do wish we would knock the shift crap off though. We would already be out of this inning if it were not for that. Yes the pitching is sucking, but the shift sucks too.

I don't understand the popularity of this shift crap all of a sudden.

Coach Early definitely panicked after Darden gave up a few hits. I thought Darden looked decent to start the game and didn't need to come out yet.

Two soft singles and an E to load the bases. I get the change since you want to limit the damage since you are uncertain how many runs we were going to plate on their starter but in hindsight leave Darden in since he could not have done any worse.


True but nobody had a crystal ball. Lions could've come in and shut it down at four, but he didnt.

Not sure what's going on, but we just need to get out of the ****ing inning so we can at least get some runs back.

Given what we've seen recently I have no idea how Bond doesn't come in before Cunningham. But honestly, now we're burning him in an 11-2 game?? Jeebus, at this point make Cunningham pitch into the 7th and save everyone else for the next 2.

Well, at the beginning of the season, everybody was *****ing when he wouldn't take people out, so I think he's trying to have a strategy, but it doesn't always play out. But this is pretty damn ugly. Their hits are just killing us.

Pitching was bad and so were some fielding errors.

OK, that **** is finally over. Let's move forward.

Probably not I would think it's South Carolina or Missouri might be worse. But we're not doing great right now. Amazing we're still in second place right now. Still can win the series even if we can't come back tonight.


I don't think it's close. Is anyone going average reliever Friday night, TBA, TBA for starting pitchers? Assume Sims is throwing. Is anyone doing else doing one TBA? We have 2 pitchers right now we trust and that's with Sims healthy. We're in 2nd because we can usually hit, but when we don't hit we strike out 15+ times.

This one's over. I wouldn't throw anybody else in this one that gives us any chance. Perfect opportunity to give a guy like Vincent a chance to gain some confidence. But Earley won't do it.
