Baldwin got a hit yesterday, but lost her position due to pinch runner..... that is one point of SB I haven't quit figured out. Didn't exist in the dark ages when my daughter played. or I have forgotten. BTW she played ball at Conroe HS
Yes, short term stats can be and often are misleading. But note what I wrote:Boozer92 said:
Stats over a short period like this can be misleading. I doubt Amari leads the team in HR at the end of conference play. KK has struggled some but also had a few well hit balls that didn't fall. Her only hit is the homerun dead into the wind against Florida. On the other hand Mac has good number but until has had some bad at AB that fell for hit. Until yesterday she looked very out of sorts. Hopefully she returns to form and at the end of conference we see her at the top of HR table
No problem at all. There are a few people on this forum that I always pay attention to and you are one of them. I just wanted to clarify my remarks and, as I often do, wrote too much !! <darn it>Boozer92 said:
My apologies if my post came across as argumentative. Just trying to add context to the stats.
At catcher I would prefer to see Ojo sit less and when she does I prefer DeeDee get the opportunities. The coaches have been running Coleman out there with very little return for years i acknowledge that as fans we see less than 10% of what coaches see. I always try to look deeper and see what I am missing. In this case I don't see it yet but doesn't mean it isn't there.

So is the catchers still injured or can she not throw it back to the pitcher without over throwing?
