I'm not sure I agree. The throw was pretty atrocious. In my mind, a good first baseman makes dang sure he catches the ball and at best a swipe tag if available. Kent made dang sure he caught the ball.

Yup. I hate to lose but I'm not going to wail and gnash my teeth and say ugly things about players and coaches.

Thank you trouble and all that contributed with game info. I must say that most, if not all, good teams have a bad stretch. Now is the best time to have one, and not in the playoffs. So hopefully that is all this is, a bad stretch, and they break out of it. We know the talent and coaching is there. I think they will.
Winning the college world series is tough because you can only have one loss in the regional or supers. 3/5 or 4/7 in the major leagues most always identifies the best team. College playoffs id the hottest team.

We didn't get run ruled because of a great defensive play at the plate. That is another positive from this game. Start stacking some more positives tomorrow and let's see if the boys can't get this thing moving back in the right direction.

Yeah we had some lapses but made several great defensive plays. Found some pitching for a few innings. Grahovac got back in the hits column and actually 1-5 all had a hit.
It stunk but there were actually some positives.
