If LSU was a host that would be a really attractive regional to send the sips to. Unfortunately it's pretty much us or Arkansas that would get them probably
By ONE MILE according to the official calculator. Verrrrry interesting.Sean98 said:
Nebraska wins and avoids a stolen bid. Lincoln is just under 400 miles from Stillwater... Just saying

No doubt about it.
I will be shocked if they are sent to CS.

Bullen chias made a good point in a text to me today.
He thinks the committee sends the sips out west like they did us last year and we get TCU as a 3.
Makes sense.
Yeah good point. They'll prob either get sent to ACC or out westLB12Diamond said:
When's the last time the sips were in a regional with a SEC team? I cannot remember a recent one.
Maybe sent to the Hogs 7-8 years ago????
Sips and frogs can not both come together as they are in the same conference,tjack16 said:dermdoc said:tjack16 said:

I'd prefer TCU/DBU over the sips. But it's hard to imagine the committee turns down an opportunity to pair us. They do it in basketball every time.
I think 2 of Texas/TCU/DBU get sent to our regional and Arkansas. The other goes west coast

So they have never been sent to CS. We were sent there once. And last year if we had beat Stanford, would have also been sent there.
Thus, goes with what I have stated. Only paired with them when they think they will win.
Two years ago we were paired with them to play in the second round in basketball. That was the best sip basketball team in the last 10 years.
This year, they could have easily matched us up in a 7-10 first round game. But we were looking solid the last few games. Better than we had looked all year and were not matched up with them. And the sips team was looking average.
Lots of coincidental things take place
Thank you. This is exactly what I've stated for a month.LB12Diamond said:

As far as bowl games. There were several times we could have matched up with them but it never happened. I think we were better than them most years so I doubt they wanted to play us. But I also think our decision makers just did not want to play them in football with how everything went down with us leaving for the SEC.

If I was not going to be at the game I agree. I know there will be some obnoxious sips who buy club tickets or sneak n like the Arky fan did and act like complete jackwads.aginlakeway said:LB12Diamond said:

100% agree. I want Texas as our #2 seed. Texas would be the weakest #2 seed in the field. And no way our players will overlook them.
Texas' best pitchers are all RH. It's a great matchup for us.

Do you really think they will be sent here? Not me.

From a pure matchup standpoint I'd like them as well. They're a 3 being paraded around as a two. Hell I'm not even sure we'd get to play them as there's a fair chance the 3 could take them out
I just get tired of the contrived/forced matchups strictly for TV ratings. I know in baseball it's a little more geographical and therefore more likely to happen. But it just seems so artificial

No I do not. But I guarantee everybody wanting the sips or saying we are scared of losing to them will not be at the games.
Sip fans will make it miserable if you are there.

Just give it back to them Derm. They have super thin skin.

Hey Derm,
What's interesting to me with the sips. One would think their behavior would not be this way since they state OU is their rival.
